Used as replacement cooling fans for Sangoma 60 VOIP Server
I purchased these to use as replacement cooling fans for our Sangoma 60 VOIP Server.I also purchased a StarTech 3-pin, 6in TX3 Fan Power Splitter Cable https://amz.run/9Upl to combine the fans into 1 3-pin connector to avoid having to solder. (The original fans were spliced and soldered into 1 x 3-pin connector)Worked out perfectly.

Quiet
Small fans usually run at higher db to move the air, these are no different but they are reasonably quiet. Fan is a fan, only time will tell for endurance performance.

It's Cheap but Does the Job
It's not the greatest fan in the world, but it does the job. A little on the noisy side, but for 12 bucks you can't expect perfection. I just placed an order for a 2nd one, the first one died after 8 months, but again, it's only 12 bucks, I'd say I got my money's worth.

Don’t screw too tight
Works great. Factory fan burnt out after 10ish years of working and this fan works great as a replacement. Easy to install and everything. Just DO NOT screw too tight. If the computer starts making a weird noise after installing you probably tightened it too tight and the blade is hitting the computer in some way.

[Update] Failed after a year
Update (1 year of use): Unfortunately the bearing failed in one fan and it no longer spins up. The other is making sounds that imply it will soon meet the same fate. I've lowered my rating as I was really hoping for more than a year of casual use, though I'm not necessarily surprised given the price. I'm planning to spend more for lower noise and better quality with my next set. This replaced the 40x40x1 fan on my 3D printer, and does a noticeably better job of preventing heat creep. Louder than I expected, but noise is not an issue for my application.

Low cost, quiet and does the job
I have a new fan-less dual core i7 based mini PC with 8 gb ram, 256 gb ssd with just 2 side vents but the core temp kept rising to 90 C and I was worried I'd cause damage and the aluminum case was almost too hot too touch. There was room to fit this fan inside by taking the bottom plate off, drilling some air holes and fitting the fan to suck air in from the bottom. The small motherboard even had a CPU fan connector. Now the case is just luke warm to touch and the core temp sits around 40-50C depending on load. Intel N3540's are fine as they are designed for tablets without fans but i7 CPU's need fans even lap top versions. Use two washers to stand off the fan from the bottom else the blade will rub.
