Powerful and Reliable Pump – Perfect for Pool Drainage
This pump is amazing! It made it possible to fully automate water removal from the stormwater under my pool. I placed it directly in the drainage pipe, and it works flawlessly. The flow rate is strong, setup was easy, and the included check valve adapter makes it very convenient to use with a standard garden hose. It does the job efficiently and saves me a lot of time and effort. Highly recommended for pools, basements, or anywhere you need dependable water removal.

Quick, easy, and efficient
Quick and easy to use. Bought it to get my hot tub fully drained, rather than bailing by hand or using a manual pump. No more of that! Set this in the bottom of the tub. It turns on automatically, pumps efficiently through an easy garden hose attachment, and turns off automatically. It pumps down to 1/4 inch of water.Anyone with a hot tub, pool, laundry room, basement — any minor water removal needed — I can see this being useful.

Pumps muddy water well but sensor or location modifications may be needed.
The pump runs after the water is removed about 30 seconds as described in the instructions.Using the pump to remove muddy water from an irrigation box that floods with high rain.Muddy/sandy water sometimes causes the pump to not start. The fix - I kept it above the mud level by digging a hole and putting a screen over. Then setting the pump on the screen. It pumps muddy water well otherwise. The Auto on/off cover is unclear and not described in the instructions. I broke off the tab removing the cover trying to clean the sensor. Added a flexible band to hold it on. Maybe it not supposed to be removed? You can use the 30 second extra run time. Remove the Auto sensor and strap it in place in a clean area facing down on top of the pump. Place the pump in a hole. When the water reaches the top of the pump water will be removed to below the sensor then 30 seconds of extra pumping. Mud is in the bottom of the hole away from the sensor. 30 seconds pumps a lot of water.Nice pump that just needs a garden hose and place to plug in.The hose backflow works well. When the pump is at full speed, the water coming out of the hose is so powerful it digs holes in dirt/grass. Very high volume. The pump seems to pump at low speeds and at high speeds.

It works well.
Purchased a less expensive pump which did not turn off automatically, added a bit of plumbing and check valve because it did not come with one. Returned that pump and purchased this for about $20 more.Installation took about 10 minutes to attach a short piece of garden hose to the hose adapter/check valve(supplied), drop it in the sump and plug it into a strategically placed outlet. The sump emptied in about 3 minutes and the pump stopped as the water level dropped to the stated depth. Works great.

Great little pump—just give it a bucket
I’ve been using this Acquaer 1/3 HP submersible pump for a couple of months to pull water from my pond to water the grass, and it works like a charm. Good flow, no issues. One tip: drop it in a bucket before putting it in the pond. It helps keep gunk from getting sucked up and keeps things running smooth.Would I recommend it? For sure. Solid performance with a simple setup.

Great Pump
This pump worked great. I highly recommend it. I needed to pump my pool down due to all the heavy rainstorms we were having. It did the job with no problem. Iisimply hooked up the hose and plugged it in. It did its thing.

Didn’t work for me
Pump did not work for me. Has a time value to run after the water is gone. After it pumps all the water out it would suck air and loose its prime. Tried to work with the seller to see if there was a way to fix the issue and ran out my return window. Seller offered a 20 percent refund on a product that did not work for me.
