he stands very sturdy and does not fall over if bumped
Very handsome figurine. The stance of the animal really shows how sleek and thin it is in life (accurate to the species) but even though the feet are close together and the body seems to slightly lean to one side (as if startled and preparing to run!), he stands very sturdy and does not fall over if bumped. Well balanced, great details in the paint. Even the black dots on the ears are accurate.

Falls over but I fixed it
Kept falling over, so I softened the front legs, which were really close together, over an open flame, and bent them outwards. It worked and now the Impala is much better to okay with, but obviously not ideal. I wish they would test all animals to make sure they can stand up well. Little kids get really frustrated by that.Otherwise the Impala is very nice, well painted etc.
