Bonsai JackSucculent and Cactus Soil - Jacks Gritty Mix -2 Gallons – Fast Draining – Fight Root Rot – Optimized pH

This soil was recommended by a YouTube channel I follow for succulent advice. I am very new to growing succulents and wanted to set myself up for success. I got a random tray of 25 succulents from a nursery and planted them all in this soil. They are all doing great 6 months later. I just ordered 2 more bags for my next mini garden I'm setting up. The customer service from Bonsai Jack is top notch as well.

This IS the perfect soil to plant succulents as it drains so well into the dirt below. My succulents are thriving and I'm happy I switched to this soil. One succulent lost it's vibrant green color in (dirt) succulent soil but it's color is slowing changing back to original in this soil.

Of all the packaged succulent mixes I have tried this is the BEST. I use it for my desert-origin snake plants, for propogating snake plants and succulents. My succulents and love it. Using this soil mix helped me save an 80 year old Schlumbergera (Christmas Cactus). I also use this soil mix as amendment for my tropical plants that require more drainage - like philodendrons.

I live in NC which has the worst humidity. I ALWAYS over water my succulents/cacti due to the fluctuating humidity. This stuff is awesome! It drains so well and quickly. I use dishes under my pots so the plants can still suck up water from below without the roots being too wet. This product just makes watering your fickle succulents/cacti so much easier and keeps you from causing soggy root rotten plants.

Foolish to think this item would be lightweight, it’s rocks! Love the bag size; easy to handle even for this old woman! I expect to pay premium for good product; these are definitely worth the price. Variegated natural tones; exactly what was described and received. Will be buying more during the season.
