Conair Hot Roller Super Clips, White, Set of 10

I have fine hair that will not hold a curl for longer than 30 minutes when using a regular curling iron. I don't like using hairspray, but if I did the curl would last longer but only for a short time maybe another 30mins. to an hour more. What amazes me about these curlers; it only takes me 5 minutes or less to roll my entire head AND I only leave the rollers in for anywhere from 5- 10 minutes MAX and my hair still has curls when I come home after working 8 hours and zero hairspray. My hair always looks shinier and healthier when I use my rollers. My hair has bounce and body and yes curl all day. I love the way my hair feels. This product just blows me away. Every hair salon in the world should use these. They leave no marks in your hair like a curling iron barrel does. It's super fast, and you can add either just great body to your hair in just minutes or very curly curls in as little as 10 minutes. My hair is even more easier to style with the bounce and curls I get using different size curlers in different areas of my head. This is something you can't achieve using a curling iron unless you have 4 different size barrels heating up at one time. Who does that? I gave away every curling iron I own. I won't use anything else on my hair - if I have to style it, I have recommended these to anyone who asks what I use on my hair to get the curls I get and I am asked often!! Like many of the other reviews, I too, wish they had 30 clips for the 30 curlers but I purchased 15 extra clips when I purchased the curlers and even though I had to buy extra clips to match the amount curlers supplied -since they only give you 15, I STILL THINK THIS PRODUCT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY PAID and WORTHY OF 5 STARS!!!! I recently purchased Remington H-2050 T-Studio Ceramic Heated Clip Hair Rollers with Tourmaline and found that the heated clips with these Remington rollers did not hold the roller in place, UNLESS I stayed really still, and that's not going to happen in the a.m. The heated clip that remington has is a great concept, but the smooth, heated surface also makes it more slippery on dry hair. So I ordered these Conair clips because they said they were large, and could withstand heat. So now in addition to my heated clips, or in leiu of.. these were the perfect answer! You can't heat these clips in the Remington unit, but they can withstand the very hot velour rollers, as well as blow-dryer heat. They also can hold a jumbo size roller, large enough a roller for someone like me with really long and crazy curly hair that needs to be tamed! No slipping at all, and no crease marks with rollers!

Sturdy and even holds my fine hair!

I picked these up to use with my Remington travel hot roller pack. My pack comes with 10 rollers, so this was perfect. My first impression was that these clips are on the thinner side. They feel lightweight. I was afraid they could easily snap with medium amount of pressure. I was concerned about their longevity, but when I began using them, I realized they had to be light in weight in order to stay in place on my head. The hot rollers are heavy enough, and when you have slick straight hair like mine, it doesn’t take much for things to slip out. I have owned these for years now, and not a single one has snapped or cracked. They are all still intact. I don’t find them to be the most comfortable hot roller clips, and I even find myself using the metal pins that my roller set came with. But, in certain areas on the scalp, these work better than the pins. I have a feeling these clips would work well for those with a slight wave to their hair, or even those with thicker diameter hair shafts. If they can stay up on my straight and thin hair, they ought to be no problem for the wavy and/or thick(er) haired individual.

Who invented these?? They are miraculous! I have been using different versions of hot curlers for decades and have cursed the clips the companies provided when [a] the rubber tips fell off and the sharp edges dug into my scalp [b] I lost the correct size clips and had to try to force a smaller one to work [c] the clips stretched out over time and didn't hold well anymore [d] the clips fit but I just couldn't get the correct angle to make the curlers hold [e] my haircut was just a tad short to wrap the curlers enough to hold These clips fit ANY size curlers. No searching for the right color tips or size. They grip instantly and painlessly and leave absolutely no dents or marks in the hair. They grip even when short hair is not securely wrapped all the way around the curler. These clips have cut my user time in half. The Amazon price fluctuates widely so pick them up on the down swing--or just hurry up and buy them. You won't begrudge the couple of dollars extra you spent. Who invented these? What took so long? Probably not enough women engineers!!

First Use with Conair Pink Hot Rollers: The longer end of the clip sometimes moves the next roller slightly out of place if you do an all-over roller set on short to medium size hair. I like to use only the medium and small rollers, and ended up using metal clips that come with the roller set because these clips wouldn't really fit. They lock in the heat for a bit longer, so if you are looking to do a really-fast-set-and-go I would not recommend using these clips. I set my hot rollers, used these clips, did my makeup, and my hair was still warm at brushout. I think it needs to cool off so the curl locks into place. They are MUCH easier to use than the metal J clips that come with the roller set. I just wish the longer end of the clip was maybe 1/4" or so shorter.

I bought these on the recommendation of a YouTube video hoping that they would hold my T3 rollers a bit better without crimping. Unfortunately the Conair clamps don’t hold as well and leave me wobbly rollers that fall out when I’m getting ready. This is only an issue for the larger T3 rollers. It does however hold up to its claim that it will not cause crimping. I posted a photo of both clamps so you can see how the Conair model doesn’t extend quite as far as the T3 model. I decided to keep these I’ll just use them for my smaller rollers. They’re a good quality and they’re lightweight and they seem durable so far. My only complaint is that the ends of the clamp are a little bit sharp on the scalp.

I bought these for an old hot curler set I had that came with the “U” shaped pins and am so pleased how easy they are to use!! By the time I put the 10th roller in I can take out the 1st one and use it again on the back of my hair. So much better than the other ones that came with my set of curlers. They fit all sizes of curlers too!
