Just what I needed to get job done. Great price

Not even remotely close to fitting the VW 1.4 PD engine.Timing marks lined up as they should be on the engine. This should slide over the teeth of the lower crank sprocket and lock into plate in the hole for the pin.When teeth engaged on the sprocket, the pin is not even remotely close to where it should be. To put the pin in the hole, the teeth of the tool are not anywhere near where they should be to hold the crank in place.Pin for cam shaft also ridiculously tight and would need thinning down.Save your money.This kit is a complete waste of time and money.Borrowed a tool from a friend to get the job done, which when comparing the two tools, these pale into inferiority and poor quality all round compared to the proper tool.

Had trouble trying to use this on a 2010 Skoda Octavia MK2 2.0 TDI engine with the "038 105 263 H" Pulley. The VW tool code T10100 is needed (Blue handle).There's very little information about how to use the tool. If you place it on the pulley from the perimiter it will not fit and looks like the tool is the wrong scale for the toothe pattern. The tool need to be placed onto the teeth from the face of the pulley.

Not an accurate when the tool was located to the teeth the pin was to high to lock off in the required location.

Great we tool for tdi basically same as the cheaper ones on ebay but obviously went for this as next day delivery

The gear castings do not line up and locking pins to big to go in holesOverall a very poor quality kit
