After taking them I have noticeably less brain fog.
These soft gel capsules are formulated with a ratio of four parts omega 6 to one part omega 3. This ratio has been proven to be the best ratio for maximum benefits. The cold pressed capsules contain Safflower seed oil and Flaxseed oil. The linolenic and linoleic acids in safflower seed oil might help prevent "hardening of the arteries," lower cholesterol, and reduce the risk of heart disease. Safflower contains chemicals that may thin the blood to prevent clots, widen blood vessels, lower blood pressure, and stimulate the heart. I have not taken safflower seed oil before, but have taken flaxseed oil and some of the benefits of flaxseed oil are said to be, helping to reduce cancer cell growth, could benefit heart health, improve skin and reduce inflammation. These capsules have no additives or preservatives, which is excellent. They are quite large but are very easy to swallow, and there is no aftertaste. The suggested dose is two capsules daily with food. This bottle of 180 capsules will last around three months, so I feel these are good value for money and are excellent quality. I have only been taking them for around two weeks, so it is difficult to tell if I am benefitting, but I have noticed I have considerably less brain fog.

3 month supply.
I was pleased to try 'BodyBio Omega 3 + 6 | Essential Fatty Acids | Safflower and Flax Seed Oil Blend | Cold Pressed | LA & ALA Fatty Acid | Balance Oil 180 Softgels, Brown'. 1. You get a big white plastic bottle containing 180 capsules, with a white plastic twist off top. There is a plastic security seal over the lid and also one underneath the lid, that you remove. 2. The dose is 2 capsules per day to be taken with food, so enough for 3 months supply. 3. I have never seen such large capsules before - 3.2cm x 1cm. I can take them okay but some might have trouble with the size. 4. Each 2 capsules contain 623g flaxseed oil, 1877g safflower oil, in a gelatine capsule, with glycerine and water. The gelatine must be non animal because they are suitable for vegetarians. 5. The Omega's 3 and 6 seem to really help my dry eyes, when I take them. They are also are 'healthy fats critical to brain and body function'. 6. They are made in the UK, 100% pure. low temperature processed. cold pressed. Free from fillers, additives. bleaching agents, deodorants, hexane extraction, artificial colours, sweeteners, preservatives, gluten, wheat, dairy, carbohydrates and sugar. The expiry date on my bottle is 11/23. 7. The current price of £33.99 seems rather expensive to me, in my opinion, for a 3 month supply but they are obviously a good quality supplement.

Huge capsules
180 capsules in a big plastic jar. Recommended intake: 2 capsules/day. That's a 3 months supply for £33.99 at the time of review. Good buy I must say. Blend of Safflower and Flax Seed Oil is a great source of essential omega oils. They are cold pressed oils so keeping all healthy benefits. I suffer from stomach ulcers and flax seed oil is helping a lot with it. But in a liquid form it needs to be kept in low temperature and used quite quick or it will go off. With capsule there is no problem and best before date is quite long 11/2023. Addition of safflower is just a bonus for me. Capsules are huge and difficult ot swallow. Still, as long as I can feel better I will continue to take them. Recommended.

Reasonable value supplement
A reasonable value supplement for the price. Not the cheapest to be sure, but there are rather more expensive options on the market and the quantity sems reasonable. Here we have a predominantly safflower (with some flaxseed) oil supplement, cold-pressed no less, sold on the Omega 6 and and Omega 3 content. The ratio of these is stated as 4:1, it being further stated that this has proven to be 'the best'. Now, to the best of my knowledge, there is no good scientific evidence to support the use of Omega 6 supplementation at all, cold-pressed or otherwise, let alone in any specific ratio to Omega 3. Moreover, excessive quantities can have potentially harmful effects (not a matter of debate) so this may be something to keep in mind. With the best will in the world and no insult intended, I don't generally take the word of supplement companies on these matters, and when I see 'evidence based' claims on such things, I prefer to see the evidence in the form of peer-reviewed papers in scientific and medical journals. Possibly these exist, but I spent a while looking and didn't find any: perhaps I wasn't looking in the right places. Be that as it may, these capsules are vegan-friendly, and being plant-based will not have the aftertaste you can get from many fish-oils for example. The quantity of 180, supplied in a large plastic bottle, seems reasonable for the price given how much some supplements can cost. Would I buy? Frankly no, the evidence doesn't really support the use, as far as I know. I'd rather take a quality supplement majoring on Omega 3, as there is certainly evidence to support its use if you don't get sufficient from your diet, which isn't always straightforward these days. But if you're in the market for a 6/3 type, apparently well-made and vegan friendly, at an acceptable price, these could be worth a look.

Easy to swallow Saltflower and flaxseed soft gels that work as expected
This combination of 4 parts Omega 6 and 1 part Omega 3 balance oil comes in a large plastic container tub of 180 softgel capsules, which will last 3 months. Two to be taken a day. These are high quality through and through just as the product description says, which I read and sounded like music to my ears. They look large but are easy to swallow with plenty of water and so easy that I could swallow two at once. Thus is the first time I tried this Saltflower and Flaxseed oil and I like it They make me feel good and mentally alert but I can't exactly pinpoint it. They are a very good price and keep you nice and healthy. And feeling nicely balanced. Very good value for money and I'm happy with the 3 months supply before I get some more.
