great for large laptops
Perfect for my 17" laptop with wireless mouse combo (shown in photo). Good mouse space for gaming. Since the whole thing is surfaced to be mouse-friendly, my lefty kid can use it also. I wish the padding were a little more generous on the underside, but that's nit picking. Nicer than my old Titan lapdesk. Fits my S9Fe+ in the slot if I take it out of its case, but also works well when using the case stand function + bluetooth keyboard.

Perfect for larger laptops
My son is a college student and will often do work in bed or on the couch. He thought he was comfortable and didn't want this (he is very money aware and didn't want to spend money on something he didn't think he would use). However, his dad was concerned his laptop would overhead by keeping it on the bed/couch while working so he started looking for a laptop desk. There are many out there but not many that will fit a larger laptop AND a mouse - this one is perfect for both, and there is a phone and tablet slot. The lap padding is very cushioned and there is a handle for carrying. Our son has been studying for a test this week and has already used it saying it is very comfortable to use and holds his laptop and mouse without any issue...he is now thanking us for getting this for him!

A PC (hardcore) gamer's delight!
As a PC gamer who plays on a couch this is wonderful! I have used it for a month for an average of 5 hours a day and it is holding up very well. I use a (gamers will understand this) TKL (10 Keyless keyboard). Wireless Redthunder TKL from amazon and a G703 wireless mouse on it and works perfectly. The laptables' (lapdesk) (black version) texture is pure gold with the mouse. No mouse pad needed. The "beanbag" pads beneath the table (lapdesk) are very comfortable and retain their form after daily use. It is at an angle (depending on how I have my legs on the couch). But the pad on the upper side of the lapdesk stops the mouse from slipping/falling off. The entire surface of the lapdesk is a HIGH END mousepad. I had purchased a logitech hard surface (expensive) mouse pad at the same time I purchased this lapdesk. It was unnecessary. 10000dpi (YES, 10K DPI) with my wireless mouse and it is very precise. Destiny 2, PUBG, WarThunder, Hitman 2,3 and Farcry 6 to name a few. I highly recommend it. Will buy another one again! (I haven't used the cell phone holder on it so i can't give an opinion on that)

Very light and comfortable. Perfect size. But 'mousepad' PU material not ideal for optical mice.
The cushion on the underside is very comfortable on the lap. The space between the cushions actually does help ventilate the lap area and keeps it cooler and less sweaty. It's made of soft linen style fabric and filled with what feels like beanbag material (small soft foam balls). The wrist cushion is comfortable in certain positions. The inside is a semi-firm foam block covered in the same linen style fabric as the underside. After about 300 hours of use, the foam has visible dimples where my wrists usually go. It's still comfortable though. Also, helps keep the laptop and wireless mouse from sliding off when tilting the whole thing at a sharp angle. The plastic slots at the top of the desk/tray are useful to hold small things you don't want to slide around. Pens, snacks, phones, etc... I wish it had come with some sort of a foam block or something to reduce the depth. It's great for general storage of the phone in an upright position so you can see incoming notification, or video chat with someone, but it's too deep to prop the phone for watching movies due to some of the screen being covered up. It's about 1 inch deep. I found that putting a small rolled up napkin or some other such object solves the issue. The top surface of the desk/tray is covered in a solid fake leather PU (Polyurethane). The benefit of this is that it does not deform with heat (from the bottom of the laptop for example). The downside is that it's not completely smooth. It has leather-like dimples. This doesn't play nice with optical mice. Dragging the mouse smoothly across the surface will have the cursor jumping/lagging a few millimeters constantly. This is ok for light browsing, but definitely not ok for gaming or any other precision task. I purchased a separate high quality mousepad to lay on top of the area. This will also not work for drawing or writing. Another downside of the PU material is that once it starts to wear, the oils from the hand coupled with the constant rubbing from the mouse make the mouse glide less and less smooth. It tends to stick to the surface very regularly and the friction is noticeably increased over longer use sessions. Overall, I would recommend this lap desk/tray for anyone who wants to use a laptop in bed / chair / couch. Also suitable for putting together small puzzles or holding up a book.

Works great
This has been great. Large enough surface for the laptop and a mouse. I can stand my phone up in the back slot. The wrist pad it a little high but after a minute or so the foam compacts and isn’t too bad. More just my preference. So much better than what I had before

Game Changer Work Station - Comfort Utility and Mobility
Just bought this and LOVE it! The bottom padding is both comfortable and cool. No sweaty or indented thighs. I have a large laptop and this lap desk is perfect. Also, I have to move around the house (from office to bedroom or kitchen) quite a bit to be close to a sick family member when needed. With this lap desk I can simply close the laptop screen, unplug the power supply, set power supply’s transformer and cord on one side of my laptop, while the mouse stays on the other side. It also works nicely sitting in a table. No packing up. Just pickup and go. Also, my mouse works great on the surface of this lap desk as well. I thought the price was a bit high to start with….worth every penny. Wish I’d bought this years ago!!!

Padding Fades with time, faster with daily use.
Biggest Problem: the material used in the padding is made of foam beads. One review said "beanbag" -- it's quite accurate. And for a long time, it was fine. I don't know how long it should last, but about 18 months in (of daily use) it is completely worn down. Overall it's a good lap desk, the size is good for a 17" inch laptop, fits fine still with room to use a mouse (it's a little tight, about 6 inches of space remain for the mouse.) I bought 2 of them 5 months apart. The other one, which gets less frequent use is not as worn. If you don't plan to use it every day it may work for you. I have no complaints outside of the padding.

I work from home a few days per week and like to use my personal lap top while watching television. This gives me the space I need to keep my cell around and add a notepad and pen. I find this is a product I almost weekly.
