Looks great. Big knob
So far so good. It’s working great, doing what it’s supposed to do. The BT app is a little janky, but once setup it just works. I swapped my 4wd knob and the cubby on the other side to put this controller in a great spot. Fabbed up a mount in the cubby. Looks great. The BIG knob is way better than the other options like this that use tiny knobs, easier to use while driving for sure. At least for my truck.

Trailer finally stops
Easy install, some light wiring required but nothing difficult. Looks like an oem product.

Looks original works great. 2014 Tundra
Short story: 2007-2014 Tundras don’t have a factory tow brake controller. 2014 looks like they could using a 15-20 controller but the software won’t take a factory module (that took some research to find, so I’ll share to save someone time). That leaves aftermarket option. I didn’t want my interior to have a hideous bolt on controller or for it to bang into my knee. I prefer the ability to manually apply brakes if needed for swaying or emergency. This controller does all that. I had to take the interior part out and grand/sand down parts to make it fit, but following the template and it came out great. It works great. I had some issue with the app, mainly it wasn’t showing in my iPhone App Store, so the first trip I used it in manual mode to make setting adjustments. It wasn’t great to set up but once it was set it towed my 34’ camper with no issues. An iPhone update and somehow now the app is available, strange but now I have the app and it makes it even better. You can easily adjust settings on the fly, and set up specific trailers it remembers. I can’t ask for anything more. I’d recommend it to others.I followed the instructions to mount. I had to trim out some parts on the backside so it fit correctly. It’s right below the “tow button”. I was concerned it wouldn’t be at the correct angle to work so I put it as high on the panel as I could. It works fine. If I did it again I don’t think I’d put it any lower, I like where it is. Putting in on the radio panel or close to it was challenging to get to for mounting purposes and I think it would be in the way. I tow only a few times a year so I didn’t want it to be in the way of anything else (phone mounts).

Really Like This Brake Controller
I really like this brake controller. I have had Tekonsha controllers in the past and have found that they are quality products. This gives the appearance of a built-in/factory integrated option, all that you see is the knob to control everything. I honestly have not used the app yet to program the controller and can't picture myself changing the settings often so I will probably just follow the manual to change things via the control knob.I have a 2023 Nissan Pathfinder with the tow package. I also bought the Nissan wiring harness so installation from a wiring perspective was as easy as could be. I did screw up with mounting the knob and had to move it over an inch or two, so my brand new dash has a couple of extra holes in it (stupid mistake on my part). I bought a couple of black plastic hole covers to mask my mistake so it looks better but not great.I would highly recommend this product of you want that integrated/factory look.

Relatively easy to install
Install was pretty straight forward. Spent more time chasing wires to tap the main box into, than actually installing the main box and control knob.Only thing that isn't impressing me is the knob. It's a bit wobbly (yes, it's screwed on tight). The cover ring also feels like it wants to pop off every time it's touched. But overall, it seems to work well. The app is "meh. Not sure why Tekonsha thought it would be such a great idea to FORCE registration if a user wants to sue the app. I know, I know, "Cloud storage". Meh.

No app for an app based product
Absolute junk. First NO APP for Android. They say there is an app but there isn't. So you are forced to use the tiny display, which sucks. You have to have the manual in hand to translate the two letter abbreviations, like bo and po. The thing is unresponsive half the time. I can go on and on but this is a app based product with no app. This product is a do not waste your time product. Run Forest run!!!!!

GMT900 oem look? I think so…
Over the last 25 years, I’ve had the Jordan Ultima, the P3, and several integrated factory controllers (2017+ ford is excellent) . But on our duraburb (2012 2500 GMT900 suburban with an LML /allison conversion) , the factory controller isn’t compatible with electric over hydraulic trailer brakes. Hydrastar’s CAM device technically works, but with the controller maxed out there is still not enough output for our 36’ travel trailer with Kodiak disk conversion… so I needed an aftermarket.I liked my P3 , but I did not want to put where my knee would hit it and with the center console , options were limited. When I saw this I knew exactly where I wanted to mount it. I’m really happy with the way it turned out. With the inner dash frame untouched, the left side of the panel protrude just slightly from the a/c control panel above it. I may hack an 1/8” off that and it would be perfect. but it’s not bad as is.I have not hooked up the RV yet but will update this review when I do. I presume it will by on par with the P3 and that was great.

Easy install, app missing from playstore
Easy to install reduced the stars for now since the app is not on the android play store right now. Once it returns I will update the review.
