Fender Modern Backplate, Stratocaster - Black 3-Ply

There's not much you can say about this because it's a friggin' backplate which is pretty self-explanatory. It doesn't come with screws, so if you're buying this for a guitar build like i did, get a good 50-pack of pickguard screws. This is an officially licensed Fender product, so it's thick and durable, just what you'd expect from Fender. Not much else i can say other than you won't be disappointed.

This back plate doesn't fit on Squier Stratocaster guitars. I assume it fits on the Fender model, but I don't have one to test it out. I can't seem to find a back plate specifically for Squier anywhere online (Guitar Center here I come). You can make it stay on with two screws though, which is what I'm doing until I get one that actually fits. This doesn't come with screws by the way. As for the quality of the backplate, it seems fine, but it isn't quite solid black as shown in the picture. There's white throughout it, if you look close enough. Not a big deal at all though. Hope this review helps someone avoid my same mistake.

Genuine OEM. Doesn't quite line up with the OEM tremolo block but it's close enough.

I am tweaking my Mexican Strat to almost all black. I was almost done, but the white rear plate has been bugging me. This plate fits perfectly even with the off-set screw middle left screw hole.

Solid quality, appears to be a good replacement, however I didn't realize I had the 4 even holes. Looks like good quality. I tossed it since it was going to cost me more time to return it than it was worth. Check your local bin for a black backplate, you might get a free one.

This was a good product, fast Prime delivery, and a good value but be aware that it has white trim which 2 out of 3 photos do not show.
