Perfect Replacement Ballast
Easy to install. Worked perfectly as a replacement for a shorted-out ballast.

Great carver!
This knife is fantastic! The blades are sharp, it's light, and nicely balanced with slightly more weight in the handle. My only complaint, is the button to operate the blade is recessed slightly too deep, and your instinct is to use the exposed button which ejects the blades. Otherwise it's a workhorse.

Momentary delay in lighting compared to original ballast
Installed this ballast to replace the original Triad B232I120RA-A that is in five other identical fixtures. The new ballast has a very momentary delay in lighting compared to the other fixtures - not a big deal but just not the same functionally. Also the new ballast is narrower and the metal is shiny metallic and seems thinner than the black painted metal on the original ballasts. There are some differences in the specs printed on the ballast including line current of "47 amps" for (2)F32T8 vs .50 amps on the original ballast and a lower minimum starting temp of -18 degrees C vs 10 degrees C just to note them. In all fairness I do not know if the new ballast B232IUNVHP-N is meant to be an equivalent ballast to the original one (could not find that information online) and if there is another ballast that would have been better to use. I would appreciate it if anyone has information on this since I did not get a response to posing the question in the Q&A section.
