It's slim pickens trying to find a light like this. There are many small LED solar powered, motion sensing down lights but those would not work for my application since the light needed to stay on all night. I used it to illuminate an address marker plaque on the side of my house. It's very compact and provides a bright down light when wall mounted.The only problem I had to overcome was that the light needed to be mounted so that the light beam angled toward the wall (rather than shining straight down) since the plaque extended out from the wall by about an inch or so. A prototype wood wedge was fabricated to create the needed angle. A PVC wedge will be made to replace the wood one.After getting this thing mounted just right, I came back to buy two spares since there is virtually no other compact light that is suitable if just needing a reasonable amount of light without going to the super bright wall mounted security lights.I may pile mount a number of these lights to illuminate the walkway of a dock.

LOVE!!!! I bought 5 strands of these for my six foot Christmas tree. The fade is slow and not jumpy at all. It's strange, the fade is so slow that you have to stare at the tree in order to see the color change. It takes focus to capture it. I love the larger round bulb this has and the color of the light. It's like the picture shown but also has a true red and green. The only irritating thing about this product was that I put 5 strands in my cart and they arrived in four separate deliveries over 4 days. We had to wait to decorate the tree until we got all the lights in. I've never experienced that before so that might happen to you as well. As for the product, love : )

First one of the two sets arrived non functional with half of the bulbs not working - a closer look at the small inline module that connects mains to the bulbs and it looked like this had been reworked and glued back together, so maybe not a truly new light set.While the second set works the colour fade is not slow its very fast and the lights are not linkable despite the product title - time will tell if the one set I've retained will last this season let alone any future seasons!

An amazing amount of light in a compact package. Used it to highlight the address of my home. In addition the light hits the top landing of the steps about 12' down with a wide spread adding a measure of safety I was not expecting.

These lights are nice - each bulb cycles through colors - somewhat fast - it is not a slow gradual change.Also - you can not string these lights together end to end - each has a power cord - but you can't connect multiple strings.

These are legit color changing LEDs. The circuits have some flickering. Each globe slowly (very slowly) changes colors through the spectrum and then jumps back to red.This applies to ASIN:B008FCCPLC from ABCO 50 LNKBL XMX LED

I purchased 10 of these to illuminate a house and installed them in the base of every column. The installation was simple, the led bulb is included and it's perfect for this kind of decoration.
