This Spice Way cayenne powder is the real deal—bright color, strong aroma, and a clean, spicy kick. It blends smoothly into soups, sauces, and marinades, and you only need a little to get great heat. Excellent quality for the price.

I am using every day in my dale smoothy. I ncrease the quantity little by little. So, I can tolérate better its spice taste.

I opened the same day it was delivered. When I opened it I got a little burst of cayenne up my nose. Haha It was hot and burned, but a good indicator that it was fresh and good quality. I am using some of it for a cayenne pepper pain salve and cant wait to see how effective it will be. My only complaint is the bag is really hard to seal once opened. It took several tries to seal it back up because its a super tiny strip. But as of now based on color, smell, looks, and my unfortunate sniff, I am happy and will most likely order from this company again. Odds are ever in their favor! 😉

I didn't get these for seasoning food. i bought them to mix with bird seed, hoping that squirrels won't eat it - or the seed. The squirrels in my area seem to tolerate this cayenne pretty well - seed and cayenne disappear from the feeder. As a seasoning, the powder is potent. It smells good and tastes good - and 8 ounces will last a LONG time (most of our food is not hot). For food - good. For squirrels - not so much.
