I was not able to use it as planned. I had a reflection back to the camera because of the magnified glass in the peephole. The picture on TV screen was a bright glare. OK! I found a better use at the bottom of door. Door thresh hold is black & wide & camera is black & very small. Camera is at bottom of door in corner. Just enough room to close door with no interference. My door is "in side" building & opens to a long hall with 13 other doors. Working just fine. Very good picture on TV. Senior building no one can hear or see very well. If it does not heat up since the hall has air movement I will order another for the other direction. This one is pointed toward the elevator. I know someone was standing at my door around 3AM, could see feet & called police. They had left through stair exit at end of hall. Not brave or stupid to open door. This will give me a complete view. OK!! I have been using 24/7 for a full 7 days & not one problem. The jerk that pounded on my door at 3:AM had a surprise when the police showed him the footage I put on a thumb drive. No explaining that away. Gave office manager a copy of incident report & video. I have 2nd one & it works great pointed in other direction & just ordered the 3rd one.

I was able to power this off of a dollar-store cheap 9V battery and use it as an endoscope type camera to peek around in an engine bay. I love these little cameras

Works great so far. Easy to install too. I got this hooked up to a DVR with no issues. Just make sure to get an adapter to hook up into the DNC (I didn’t realize this until I got the package, but thankfully the DNC cables I bought came with adapters included, so I got lucky.)I am using this to monitor the front of my apartment door as someone/s has been messing with my doorknob at night and the building hallways have no CCTV. So I took matters into my own hands.I needed something discreet as to not attract attention and to avoid neighbors feeling weird about it.Obviously the image quality is not the best given it’s size and MP capacity, but it’s still good enough to clearly capture faces of anyone stepping in front of my door.Can’t say anything about night mode as my hallway is fully lit up 24/7 (maybe next time we have a black out I’ll be able to test out night mode)

No instructions of how to connect. Cannot power on no matter what I try. Showed up in shiny packet w no directions. Don’t waste money or time. App wants all kinds of permissions to access everything in your phone (not that I could connect the stupid camera)

This tiny camera has a very clear picture. The shape makes,it a little awkward to use incognito, but otherwise lives up to the hype. The thing I disliked is the short a.v. inputs and also the power supply being so close to the camera itself.

My camera did not operate as long as I felt it should have or maybe it was operator error but the company immediately remedied the situation by sending me a new camera. I was not seeking this solution when I contacted the company about how to determine what was wrong with my camera as it suddenly stopped operating. I was going to purchase another one but just wanted to make certain it was kaput first. They didn't haggle over the possible problems. They immediately offered to remedy the situation by sending a new camera. I surely will consider the name Vanxsemall whenever shopping for electronic stuff with customer service/ support like this. Oh yeah, the camera did operate as advertised above.

This is my second one of these. I use them for hidden security cameras for my door, yard and parking area. EXCELLENT video output & WONDERFUL picture after dark. I will be buying a total of 4 of these, used with a quadplexer & 40” screen.The top image on my screenshot is this camera, and the bottom is an Xcam color camera. The only illumination on both of them is a single porchlight. I use this camera 24/7 as a security camera, and I have no problem with it overheating. I have never had it stop working, and it' s been working constantly for about 3 months now.I plan on replacing all of my existing cameras with this little camera, and will eventually purchase a total of 4.

If you're looking for a spy camera that you can plug into a television or recording device via RCA cables, this is a very good option. I think it goes without saying that you should not expect high quality video with this spy camera. The video quality was very grainy, however at close range of 2-4 feet away, the video quality is acceptable. This is generally true of all spy cameras. So I think this spy camera is a good choice for those who want to hook up to an external television or recorder. It does get very hot immediately after plugging into the 12 volt power supply, so I'm not sure if the heat will shorten its life span.
