Does this work for colored pencils? Many sharpeners gunk up quickly

It might depend on the brand of color pencil, however color pencils are what I bought it for and it’s never failed me.

Is this sharpener good for Colored Pencils? The lead is much softer and known to clog some sharpeners. Any changeable parts if dulls or breaks down?
