Protects well, useful for melee combat games when you are often knocking your controllers together. HOWEVER they do have a significant impact on the quality of controller tracking. In fast paced games like Beatsaber this will cause you to miss cubes quite frequently. They are a little difficult to equip and remove so taking them on and off between games is a bit of hassle. Works in combination with Protube magnetic attachments no problem.In short, they help protect the controllers, but compromise tracking. Not ideal but not without its uses.

These things looks like they'll really do the business when it comes especially to protecting the halo. So far haven't noticed any loss of tracking, did find I hadn't installed the right one correctly so the trigger was a little sticky but easily resolved,I also have the grip strap from the same brand and they look and feel fantastic. Feels nice, colour matches the controllers and does not hinder tracking. The protection is not complete since holes are large, but it can't be helped to allow sensors to function, in the end its better than no guard when you evetually hit something.

I've watched many reviews and tried alot of covers. These are the best covers to protect your precious controllers. I didn't encounter any tracking issues and the halo is well protected. This gets 5 starts from me.

Had mixed feelings about them, they didn’t look like they would be any help with damage and some reviews saying they cause tracking problems. So, fitted them and impressed with how much protection they give, tough and edges nice and thick. Next to put them on, easy to line up and fit, then the test. Tracking out, only slightly but enough to be an issue. On checking I’d fitted them properly I saw an “L” and “R”. After feeling like a dope, I swapped them to the right controllers and perfect. Sturdy, secure and no interference.
