Easy blocker to use, answer phone, listen to caller, if unwanted, hit red block button, and hang up. If the same caller, calls you, your phone will ring once then blocker will disconnect the caller. Caller ID required. Poor instruction book, all 7 functions are not listed and nothing about the LCD display, it does not describe what the readouts are supposed to be displaying other then the phone# and date, but seller HQtelecom answered my questions. When wiring the telephone and Blocker in series you can program the blocker per instructions with the phone, but... if you wire them in parallel the programming feature is somehow disabled. For the price, this is an excellent blocker and simple to use. When using the blocker, I only read the displayed phone #, and use the red block button and remove button..... 99% of time. If I forgot something then I look at instructions

Bought mine from a different vendor, but the unit is terrible.Mine completely stopped working in three days. The instruction booklet is impossible to understand.I believe they are giving these away to people to get five star reviews. Hence the statement by most 5 star reviewers that they received a discount for their "unbiased" review.
