The scissors are very sharp great for cutting your line fluorocarbon or braid and the pliers are nice and durable it's a good product

Good kit, but sheath is garbage
The pliers and scissors are good quality. The sheath that comes with it however seems like it was designed by a 5yr old. No backing on the sheath for rigidity, just nylon cloth material. It turns and lays over allowing the pliers to turn upside down. This didn't matter to me since they're going in a boat.

Good deal for two essential pieces of fishing gear
The scissors cut braid line very well. The pliers close firmly and the little ridges interlock perfectly. The pliers are a nice size -- small enough to fit in a small-ish tackle box, but big enough for most jobs that I'll need it for. If you need both braid scissors and pliers, these are a great package deal.

shame on rapala
I already have a pair of the scissors. They're great,can't beat them, for some reason I thought the pliers were stainless(my fault) nope, so in about a month they will be so rusted it will take a can of blaster to get 'em to open and close. The sheath is absolutely USELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bought this combo 'cause I thought having the pliers and scissors in the same sheath would be a great thing. I'll keep it but only because of now I have a spare pair of scissors. If I were Rapala I'd fire whomever is responsible for that sheath and carbon steel fishing pliers. STUPID
