Works as it should. Has a little vibration but not bad. Good value for the price.

Good and cheap. In spite of complaints assembly was fairly easy. There are instructions and they could be better but they were adequate. (see pics) There was talk that the light only comes on when the grinder is switched on. Ours came wired so that the worklight is independent of the grinder. We leave in on as a nightlight. If you are at all handy with electrical you can wire it however you like. The socket is a typical E26 houshold lamp size and is limited to 40W. If you prefer incandescent 40W isn't much but a 5W LED provides plenty of light, a 10W LED would be overkill. No bulb is included. Mounting was harder than it should have been because the 2 mounting holes are in the middle of the mounting plate on each side under the motor shaft (see pics). This positioning makes installing bolts from the top nearly impossible. Holes in the 4 corners would be better. My solution was to use stainless steel toilet tank bolts inserted from below, held up with the plastic retaining clips shown in the pictures. Tightening was done from underneath. If you plan to do it the same way make sure you have bolts that with a head that can be turned (slotted, hex, phillips, etc.) not a carriage bolt or a typical toilet to floor bolt. The grinder works good with minimal vibration. Starting torque is low so it takes a few seconds to spin up, seems normal to me. Considering this was the cheapest 6 inch grinder available it is great in spite of any flaws.
