I really like this battery hold down bracket! It's an excellent replacement for the old rusty stock bracket that was initially under the hood. The length and placement of the j-hooks are just right to enable the rubber thread covers to fully fit onto the end of them using the group 35 battery. Using the included wing nuts enable a tool free setup to remove the battery quickly if need be, while also keeping it secure while driving. Lastly, the color is stunning and it stands out under the hood. In summary, I give this product 5 stars and advocate it as a product that I use for my aftermarket installs. I only use the highest quality and most efficiently designed products on my builds and this product is the perfect combination of quality, efficiency, and price.

Product is made very good but it would no fit my battery . If the hole for the screws had been elongated about 1/8 inch further to the ends it would have fit . Wish it had fit , it’s awesome looking .

Worked out for me. The fit works. The length isn't going to let you mount up to the original strut tower mounting point. I'll throw down a pic of how it sort of looks. One rod(strut tower side), is basically under the battery tray how the outer one is (the side closer to motor) and it all tightens down very snug! I was searching for an original mount and the pricing/availability out there is all over the place...i was going to just fab up my own (wouldn't have been to hard, but probably ugly) but figure I give a "good looking" mount a try lol. It all worked out and I'm pretty dang happy at how it turned out and looks. Color looks great, matches the car. The durability feels super solid. It was very very easy to install! WARNING! You NEED to cut the rod that goes against the strut tower or it WILL hit your hood. You do not want that, so cut it down about an inch and your good. USE THOSE BLACK CAPS. This can cause freak fires under the hood if those metal poles touch your bare hood. It's not always going to happen, but if you love your car you'll eliminate that from even trying to be an issue. All in all, the product works as intended and I recommend this if you don't want to fab your own or go and buy an original.

I got this to replace my old battery toe down in my Jeep TJ. It fit perfectly and holds the battery snugly even after over a year of off-roading with it I haven’t had to retighten it. It looks great under the hood and keeps me from worrying about the battery during off camber trails. The only thing I had to do was trim the posts about an inch so they weren’t getting into other things on the fire wall. It was super easy to install, works great, and so far has been durable enough to have survived many tough bouncy trails as well as salt air.

Other than the bolts being a bit long I'd say it does exactly what it is supposed to. Nuts/washers are stainless (I verified) and I installed it with ease. Since this is a generic size not meant for any particular installation, I suggest ensuring measuring your installation requirements to ensure it will meet your needs. I installed on a EV that had a small 12V battery used only to power the computers on startup and had to install at an angle but regardless, it worked great. I liked the bolt covers since I had to cut the threaded bolt to size.

My battery no longer spontaneously flies upward, as it is held down by this nice piece of aluminum machining. Mine had no obvious defects, and was set to go. Installation was a matter of moments, and it fit well, although that's not surprising. Perhaps SpaceX ought consider this unit if they're having a problem with flying batteries in space! (C'mon, that was funny)

For use when baahha'ing. Works great, great value, look is a should be. Easy to use. Color was the same as pictured. Does not affect battery life
