Sakura Pigma Manga Basic Set (005, 01, 05, 08, FB, White)

Perfect for my budding artist who is into anime and manga 💚 I've always loved micron for my own work so finding one geared toward my child's interests was very cool to see and she's already created some nice work with the pigmented pens that write smoothly, don't bleed and work well on almost any paper!

Excellent reliable pens for drawing or writing!

I use these for every project I have done. The size of each pen allows to create line art and calligraphy especially the brush pen which is favourite, I use that to do calligraphy, and it's beautiful.

Bought these to replace some microns I lost/forgot about for about 5 years. The Microns work exactly like I need them to: fine, consistent lines when used properly. Hold the pen straight up and press down gently, you're working with ink instead of graphite so it just has to touch enough for the ink to transfer from the nib to the paper. The brush tip, the pen I like to use the most, started to fade about 8 drawings in and needed a hot water revival, but that could be my fault because I drew a lot of things that needed a lot of black. It still works but it's not as consistent at times. Overall it's the pen you do want to control your pressure and orientation with to adjust how thick the lines are. That white Gelly Roll pen is nice as an additional whiteout tool, it means you can do really fine corrections and it can draw some details on spots of solid black without the really tedious step I like to do of planning around an imaginary white line. The issues I've had with it is that it needs dome scribbling to start in order to scrape off the older layers of ink, and if you don't wait for the black ink to dry you wind up with this dirty gray pool of ink. The best I've seen the Gelly Roll pen do is with delicate touches that barely even touch the paper.

I love this set! I had wanted to try fineliners for a long time, and finally ordered this. I love all the pens! They are perfect for my drawings. My favorite of the set is the Pigma FB brush pen - I've already had to replace it after having it a few months as I used it so much. The white pen was my first gelly roll pen, and I love it! I've started collecting the other gelly roll pens too. I will say that after having it several months, the ink does not flow as well as when I first bought it, but I plan to replace my current one soon (I hear they recently came out with three sizes of the white pen!) The Micron pens are amazing; I love how quickly the ink dries on the page. They hardly ever smudge! I mainly use them for drawing, but they are also a joy to write with! Having different sizes is great. After owning them several months, one of them is leaking where the metal top meets the plastic, but I have a feeling that one of my kids may have dropped it or something like that to cause that! The others haven't leaked at all. This is a great set, with a good variety of pens! I'm pleased to have them.

I bought these to supplement my Zentangle drawing supplies. Lots of pen sets have multiples of the same pen but this is a great assortment of different point sizes and includes a white pen for working on dark paper. I'm not sure that I will use the brush pen but even if I don't, the set was a good value. I've only used two of the pens so far but the ink flowed well in them.

These pens are excellent for precision and art. I cannot say enough good things about them. I use them to write and draw, and the accuracy and detail you can achieve with them are not like a lot of other pens. You can choose the size and really find what works for you. My art and handwriting has improved a lot using these. I would not recommend them for kids who are starting out with writing because the pens are quite small and detailed.

I've been a fan of micron pens for a while now and there one of my favorite pens to use for Line work when I'm making art they're pretty reliable pens and I'm also a fan of the brush pen I like using them to add Dimension and shading they definitely give him more loose and natural kind of look when illustrating with it and I really like the jelly roll pan it's a pretty good gel pen this is a pretty good kit I'd recommend it

Very pleased with this set of pens. I’ve ordered from other places and got crap. These came perfectly. Work amazing and I will definitely order more when I need them. Was able to get my project done plus more.

what I like about the set is, that it covers most essential sizes. Except for the 005 size, I rarely use it.

Good markers . Basically , it's better than other ones because only get 4 essential marker sizes rather than 6 or more which doesn't matter . Insted of those you get a brush filler and a white marker which is good .

This set has everything for you to get started, its almost as if all the pens are handpicked. They last quite long too, its my second inktober with the set and there's more juice in them. I would totally reccomend this set. This is especially good for beginnners.
