This will happen to every one of these screens. Dealer will not replace the screen only - they want $1,600 to replace the whole radio with the same part that will delaminate again. It took 2 hours end to end, but it worked perfectly! Hardest part was removing the dash trim to get the screen out. After that it’s pretty easy to do - good video on youtube by MJTech shows you how to do it. Don’t be afraid - you can do it! If not, buy the extended Mopar coverage now because it will happen at some point to all of them. Terrible that they don’t do a recall. I think safety is a problem when you can’t use your touch screen controls any longer due to ghost touches taking over. Glad I took the leap of faith and fixed it myself with this great replacement screen!

First off make sure you have the Uconnect 4C or the ribbons won’t match up. Have. 2018 Chrysler 300, there was some bubbling on the screen which caused it sporadically think they screen was being touched, got so bad the clock was trying to adjust all the time, pressed too hard and screen cracked. Called around and got quotes from $750 to be fixed and then labor to install, up to $1600 for a total OEM with Chrysler. $600 isn’t cheap but glad I did this, saved me a ton. Super crisp colors, bright and touchscreen is very responsive. Highly recommend to save some money and DIY

I took a risk to buy this and I have no regrets. So far so good, even better than the replaced original. Shipping and communications were first class.

This is the Gen 2 model I suppose you can call it as gen 1 delaminates and all. Only 3 reviews so it threw me off if it was legit and they just started selling month prior before I purchased. I received the item within two weeks or so and it’s perfect brand new and all. So for anyone concerned, don’t be it’s 100%
