Q: Does this laser have the plumb/dot option for ceilings?

There is no plumb dot, but it has 2 vertical lines that does give you a cross. Not as good as plumb dot, but does work.

Q: Will this stick to metal roofing?

If you buy the laser detector, it works perfectly out to about 150-180 ft. I don’t know why anyone would claim it is not accurate because is properly set up, it is perfectly accurate.
