MSG
There is MSG in there, I'm surprised they don't list it in the ingredient list. I eat too many dishes with MSG in them to know what they taste like. I wish they would use less MSG in it. I like MSG, I just don't like it when I can taste it.It's not too spicy, which I like, because if I want it to be more spicy I can just add some hot chili pepper powder to it.It has just enough Sichuan powder to know it in there. But if I want more Sichuan flavor I can always add more Sichuan powder to it.Overall, it tastes good.

A unique, tasty condiment powder that works well with everything. From hard boiled eggs to meats or vegetables to dumplings, whatever. The chili spice blend adds a special flavor to everything.

Savory, spicy, and salty
Tastes like those dipping powders with xinjiang bbq. Crushed chilis, that bussin msg, it's spicy and savory. Definitely makes my tummy hurt a bit from the spice but its delicious. I put it on any kind of meat to make it taste good. Has a very szechuan-y dried chili taste with the slightest bit of sweetness.

Beware - contains peanuts and shelf life issues
This product did not mention - nor did I see it anywhere in the ad - that it contains peanuts. This is a common and serious allergy.Being a food item, it is not returnable - so I'm out the money.The package states shelf life of 12 months - that's fine with meBUT - the one I received was made in 1/2025, and I got it in 9/2025 - 2/3 of the shelf life gone already!This product contains oils - so that means it will go rancid.Be careful with this one - you're taking your chances.
