This author really 'gets it'. Highly recommend. Wish I'd found it earlier. Wish he'd written it years ago, too, perhaps some of her anxiety could have been avoided if I'd known then what I know now. I'm a teacher with over 20 years experience, I'd say every teacher absolutely needs to read this. The trauma caused daily by ill-informed teachers to autistic children is horrendous, this book would certainly positively inform their practice. I'm going to buy the adult version now. Review: The best part of this book is that it wastes no time in getting you to the information you need. Explanations are solid and eye opening and so far the suggestions that have been implemented have been very effective. Thank you very much for having a positive impact on the lives children. I have given this book to teachers as well who were able to make impactful changes without committing to a long read.
