I bought this to break up the monotony of some food safety training by incorporating an engaging activity. The employees really enjoyed the demonstration, especially following up to see where all we left traces of the germs on the way to the handwashing station. I’ll be keeping this on hand for the rest of my career.

I teach at a local university and used this to demonstrate hand hygiene and infection control. Some students volunteered to put Glo Germ on their hands. We turned out the classroom lights for full effect from the UV light. The students then washed their hands and out went the lights again to see the “germs” still present on freshly washed hands. Very impactful! There are general directions on the bottles in the kit but went online to find more specific instructions and lesson plan ideas. The product performed exactly as hoped it would and was worth spending a little extra on this kit.

This kit is so fun, and works really well. I used it as a demonstration for hand washing, and how easy it is for germs to spread in the hospital setting. Each of my students put the Glo lotion on their hands and practiced washing their hands. I was able to evaluate their hand washing with the UV light. Super fun hand washing activity!
