Can you plug the active target transducer and the live imaging 3 in 1 transducer into the Elite FS 9 at the same time?

I am quit sure that you can not use both transducers on one unit. There is only 1 plug in on the unit for transducer.

Does active target transducer and black box come with this?

I'm in my car right now. Utube has a good demo for the Elite series

If I buy the FS 9 w/ the Active Target transducer will I need to buy the live imaging 3 in 1 transducer as well to get CHIRP, down scan and side scan?

When I bought my FS 9 I look for the one that stated it having the live image 3 in 1 transducer with it, of course there is a cost difference and when they sent the FS 9 they sent only the 3 in 1 transducer with the FS 9 not both. So depends on where you get your FS 9 read it carefully and it will state weather it comes with the active target transducer or the 3 in 1 transducer. No need to get an FS 9 and it comes with active target transducer and then getting a 3 in 1 transducer too. you will not be able to use both transducers and you will end up with an extra unused transducer.

Does the active target transducer have side scan and down scan just like on the standard transducer or does it only have live imaging?

Only live but you can add the regular transducer in addition
