Compared to Fugoo XL
Conducted side-by-side listening tests with the Fugoo XL over two days. I listened to the Fugoo XL "naked" for best souond qualtityL Spotify was my source running at the high quality stream. (but not the very highest) Listening to a variety of genres of music, this was the closest any speaker I've headr came to knocking the Fuggo XL from top spot (Audioengine B2, Sony SRS-X55, Doss soundbox, JBL Flip4) It was unquestionably louder than the Fugoo and I was unable to get it to distort and any volume. (with equalization flat) Even at maximum volume it was listenable although somewhat blaring. The Fugoo on the other hand would distort at about half volume; however to be fair, the Fugoo reached deeper in the low bass region and so this puts it at a disadvantage trying to reproduce high volumes. For my taste, I prefer to have the very low bass, as I listen at close range in a quiet room setting. (I think that If you want high volume you should use a larger line-powered speaker anyway) While having the best-in-class low bass, the Fugoo also sounded brighter on the top end. In addition the Fugoo soundstage was noticeably wider. (due no doubt to the side-firing speakers) That said, there were many songs where the T3 sounded better than the Fugoo, generally ones without very low bass, and heavy on vocals. Especially with spoken words like advertisements, the T3 had a immediacy and presence that the Fugoo could not match. . The T3 is not a speaker you would want to carry around; although certainly small and light, it has a finish that seems like it will mark very easily. I consider this a stationary speaker. So might as well save $50 and get the T5. So in summary, this is a great speaker, the only one better (for me) is the Fugoo XL.

Great speaker, but has some flaws. (Audiophile/Music Producer review)
This speaker sounds great and has studio speaker quality sound, but it lacks the power that the Marshall Killburn II has. The bass response is good, but it lacks a lot of low end power, and the highs can get too loud. The 52Hz bass response of the Marshall Killburn II vs the AudioPro Addon T3 60Hz bass response actually matters a lot when you are listening to music. It also makes the bass sound like they are on 15inch sub-woofers, compared to the AudioPro that sounds like mid-range speakers. This speaker feels like something you would have sitting in a quiet office, while the Marshall Killburn II looks like some dj gear/dj speaker that is about to rock a party, and it has the power and bass response to prove it. The highs get boosted at the loudest volumes, so it doesn't have that much power for bass. And while you are turning it up to almost max level, like level 7 8 9 and 10, the bass stays at a certain level while the highs keep getting louder and louder. This speaker is at 25 watts, and the Marshall Killburn II is at 36 watts and sounds a lot louder and more powerful. The Marshall Killburn II has knobs for volume, treble, and bass, that feels like dj decks, which this speaker really needs, but lacks. I was always listening to this speaker everyday wishing I could turn down the treble. This speaker seems like a copy, and the Marshall Killburn II is the real deal. Overall, it is a great sounding speaker that is really close to studio speaker quality. It's really great if you are listening to it at home, and in a quiet office environment and don't have to turn it up loud. But if you are going to be listening to music in a warehouse/outdoor environment, then I would recommend the Marshall Killburn II. Also the FUGOO Tough XL sounds like blown;damaged midrange speakers if you were looking at that too...

The sound is very nice. Some people said it had too much bass
The sound is very nice. Some people said it had too much bass, but I would describe it as rather neutral. Of course you cannot expect miracles from such a speaker. There is basically no "spacious" sound due to the lack of good stereo. Please be aware that Bluetooth sound sucks. That is not a problem of these speakers but of all Bluetooth speakers. However, this one does not support AptX, which would be a somewhat better quality protocol. The transmission protocol uses lossy compression. and this personally bothers me a lot when listening to music. I therefore bought a cable with it. The fact that you can charge USB devices with it is great, but I get some static noise when I charge and listen from the same phone. Again something that is more a general issue I assume. Battery life is great. The boxy design looks cool, but I feel like it will age not age very well with use in the outdoors.

Finding the right placement is key, not ideal for every use
As other reviewers have noted, this speaker is heavy on bass and lacks built-in equalization, so whether you like the way it sounds is going to be a matter of taste. I was a bit disappointed at first, since I mainly use bluetooth speakers with Apple music, which also lacks decent equalization options, and I found that I really couldn't handle the Audio Pro T3's booming bass without applying a bass reduction filter. All of Apple's other eq filters sound awful with this speaker, to my ears. I also quickly discovered that, like many good speakers, placement and room size are key to how this unit sounds. This is kind of unfortunate for a portable speaker, because there are some situations (for instance, in my small bathroom, with a fan on) where it actually sounds terrible. I had a few different locations in my home that I had envisioned using it that I tried and I found the sound overwhelmingly in bass and mid-range, and exhausting to my ears. Once I figured out better placement scenarios, I started to appreciate the speaker a lot more. It really does sound fantastic if you can place it far enough away from you, and on top of the right piece of furniture, in the right sized room. In other words, there are a lot of variables in getting great sound from this thing, and since its sound can't really be adjusted beyond the volume control, it's definitely not an ideal all-purpose portable bluetooth speaker. It does look fantastic, and I've been using the auxiliary input to listen to records in my kitchen (as a satellite to a 70's Sansui receiver and Dual 1229 set up in my dining room) and it sounds great. I've decided that it's a perfect speaker for my kitchen, so I'm happy with my purchase. But my expectations were higher, and my first impulse within a few hours of receiving the speaker was to send it right back and try something else.

Love this speaker!
I just received the Audio Pro T3 and I love it already. It's more compact that I anticipated, which is great because it's easier to place in my crowded office and also makes it a much more mobile speaker for taking to other rooms or in the backyard. But I'd also like to comment on the build quality. I was amazed by how well this bluetooth speaker was designed. It's truly a well built little speaker with a quaint retro look, and that has matching sound quality to boot. That's really all that matters. Overall, couldn't be happier with my new T3!!

Ordered 2 Units - All the batteries were dead
It's a great looking speaker that also sounds awesome... when it's plugged in. I've now received two of these speakers from Amazon and neither have worked when on battery power. I ended up just returning it after the second one was also defective.

Great speaker
This is a great vintage looking speaker. The sound quality is excellent, clear treble and good bass. Almost as good as a non-Bluetooth speaker. This is by the way not really a blue tooth speaker in the conventional sense. It transmits sound via Bluetooth but that’s it. You can’t control anything via the speaker. It has its own volume control, which I had to figure out. No track control or pause. Battery life is just ok, about may be 6 hours but it’s still well worth the money!

Great bass sound, but too much...?
I think a concern a lot of us have when getting a portable speaker is, "Will the bass sound OK?" The answer is definitely yes with this speaker. The sound is clear and the bass sound is excellent. The first song I put on was a jazz trio and the bass sounded wonderful. But, as the song went along I started thinking, "Hmmm, the bass is a little too loud and I can't adjust it." I listened to rock and classical orchestral and some solo piano. Honestly, I thought it sounded best for solo piano and orchestral music. For rock and jazz the bass overpowers a bit too much to me. I just listened to the Beatles' "A Day in the Life" and I sure could hear Paul's bass beautifully. But, for my taste and the fact I can't adjust the levels, the bass is just too loud and the music sounds out of balance to me. If you are way into bass you will like this, but I'm strongly considering returning the speaker.
