This book is full of wonderful stories and reminiscences by Tony of his fellow performers, as well as songwriters, family members and other special people in his life. Interspersed in every chapter are Tony's beautiful paintings. Each chapter is like a little gem, where we learn great stories about performers like Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Bing Crosby, Bob Hope and many more. Tony's spirit shines throughout his book and takes you along a wonderful journey through his life and remarkable career.

This was a joy of a book. As some other reviewers did, I expected a bio but this is just delightful. Tony gives a short chapter to the many people who he has met in his life that have either helped him in some way or made a lasting impression on him. It is a quick read and can be put down and picked up easily due to the format. Each chapter begins and ends with art that Tony has done over the years of places he has been and some of his favorite people. Highly recommended for Tony Bennett fans. It gave me more insight to the time and struggles these stars had to go through. It always looks so easy from the outside.

Loved reading about the varied personalities Bennett felt touched his life, both personally and professionally. This was a quick, but inspiring read.

He also writes about historical figures, significant locations and beloved family members. I highly recommend this book to all Tony Bennett fans. What a singer, what an entertainer, what an amazing and kind human being.

Tony wrote a love letter to all the people in his life who helped him along the way. It was a delight to read! I liked it so much that I recently bought one for a cousin. I highly recommend this book for any Tony Bennett fans. I think people who don't listen to Tony will enjoy it, too. He has a warm, wonderful energy that is on every page of this book!

I love the brief stories Bennet gives of performers dating from the early 50”s to Lady Gaga. The artwork in this book is phenomenal! However my issue was with the seller! I bought it cuz seller said it was autographed…..no it was not!!

My wife and I absolutely love Tony Bennett in any setting. His singing and musical side is well known to everyone, but he opens up in many unusual ways through this book. He presents many reproductions of his excellent paintings along with essays about many people from the worlds of music, art, and life in general. The paintings are stunning, and his essays are equally arresting. He has very broad and deep insights about many people and ideas of the times we all have lived through that are precious and a great privilege to share. Buy this book for yourself and all your thinking and artistic friends. This man is one of the real treasures of this world!

Loved the book which is told in such a personal way. There are lots of thoughts on all of his prior albums and numerous references to other musicians, how they influenced him, and ideas on what to buy and listen to now. It helped me identify some amazing music to add to my library while learning about one of America's greatest entertainers.

Tony reviews individual stories about people on his life. Interesting read as a sequel to his other autobiographies. Highly recommended!

I absolutely love Tony Bennett and found this book so inspiring, full of stories about the people that helped him become the most amazing artist that is today. It would read this book over and over again.
