What is the longest time you can keep the rice warm after the 12 hour "keep warm" expires??

I can't answer for this specific model, but I grew up in Japan and we made rice all the time in a rice cooker very much like this (we got ours twenty years ago so this has a few more bells and whistles I'm sure) and can speak about generalizations. When we would make a large batch of rice, we could eat it for two days or so (although it rarely lasted that long) and the rice was still decent, if not great. I've found that after about 12 to 18 hours, it's still fine for covering it with stir-fry or something like that, but it's not really good enough to eat plain like it is when it's fresh.Update - I have since purchased this model and the 12 hour keep warm is a bit confusing. What the feature does is it holds the rice at a slightly lower temp for twelve hours to keep the quality then shifts to the standard keep warm setting which keeps the rice safe for longer. I've had my rice in this cooker for 3 days and it was still good. There was a bit of a loss in quality, but not much.

Can this rice cooker be used as a slow cooker?

No, this rice cooker cannot be used as a slow cooker (At least I don’t find how). Among all the available options, the longest cooking option is brown rice which is only 85-110 minutes. May I ask how you use it as a slow cooker, Aya?

Can this be used to cook lentils?

Try "porridge" setting--but keep an eye on the lentils--might be done before the cycle ends.
