Before vs after. Not the color indicated on the shampoo but still a nice color

I used this shampoo & conditioner on my already (salon) bleached hair, and it really cooled out the yellowish tones beautifully! The conditioner does have a bit of an intense "Salon Product" smell to it, but it seems to dissipate quickly. I'll definitely continue to use this to keep my tones icy cool!

I bought this after seeing it recommended in several different magazines. I have treated hair that is naturally near-black with warm undertones that tends to lighten and get brassy as it grows out, which I hate. I had been getting my hair done with a demi-permanent glaze at the salon to correct the color but thought I'd try some at-home color depositing shampoo/conditioners to prolong my time between visits. After being badly disappointed with John Frieda Midnight Brunette (which didn't do much to darken my hair and didn't correct the brassiness at all) I was AMAZED by my results after one wash with the shampoo and conditioner. My hair looks the way it does after I get it done at the salon. It's gone from a darker mid brown with yuck brassiness to a rich near-black - exactly the color I want. I have a few scattered white-gray hairs and they are nearly invisible now. The products left my hair soft and well hydrated, not frizzy like after I used the John Frieda. I'm sold! I don't understand the negative reviews, I think some people might be mistaken about what this product is. It's not a dye, it's a color-correcting/depositing wash and it's meant for brunettes. It's supposed to be blue, not brown. Cobalt blue is how you counteract unwanted red undertones. If you're blonde and you use a heavily saturated cobalt pigment like this your hair will turn a weird green color. Yellow + blue = green. It even warns you right on the bottle not to use it with blonde or lightened (highlights, balayage) hair. By the way this wash WILL stain your palms and nails but it washes off with a little scrubbing. In all honesty you don't want to use a color depositing wash that doesn't stain at least a little bit. Dead skin, nails, and hair are all made of the same thing: keratin. If your wash doesn't leave some pigment on your palms, then it's not doing anything to color your hair either.

My own hair I love the product, it’s spendy for someone like myself on a fixed income. Hopefully I can afford to order again when I’m out. Please run a sale/discount 🤙

I cannot believe I paid over $70 for shampoo/conditioner, only to have it turn my medium brown hair almost black. I do not have bleached or highlighted hair and my hair isn't particularly porous, but this stuff dyed my hair near-black almost instantly. I used on wet hair in the shower and left on for less than 1 minute each (shampoo and conditioner). Good luck getting this out of your hair, too... I've washed several times with clarifying shampoo, dandruff shampoo, vitamin C cocktail, all to no avail. This stuff, once on your locks, will not move. Sent back after one use. Do not recommend.
