The mold will need to be removed, bleach deluted with water and a scrub blush works the best and let dry. With the sponge included apply the black and start in small area and move around the top. After completing I applied a second coat the next day move in different directions to eliminate any streaking. Can it be used on a Saturn sky convertible top?

I have a Pontiac solstice, so basically the same car. This stuff looks great for about three months, and completely washes off within about 10 months. For the price, it's definitely worth it. You can probably get a good 10 uses from one bottle on a saturn sky, so the description isn't WRONG when it says it will last ten years - because the amount of product you receive for the price will - but the color needs to be reapplied every 6-10 months. Though only the first coat needs to be heavy. After that you need very little to deepen the black again

Is this for canvas or vinyl, (if the answer is in description, it is well hidden)?

It's for canvas tops only (the more modern type). I used it on a black 2003 Eclipse Convertible top and it looks show room quality new. It's NOT recommended for vinyl ( the type that was used in the 50's and 60's)
