I like the strong steel blades and looks like they have been balanced with attached weights. The housing is plastic that is deformed in sections. I wish the USB controller was a knob for fastest control, not a button that you have to repeatedly press and watch the led lights. I wish I could just wire in a normal toggle switch that remembers last speed. It's fairly quiet on the low setting but gets quickly loud as you increase the speed.

I tried this product not for growing anything but to move air inside of my cruiser. I had to change a few things to accommodate it but it exceeded my expectations. I connected this to one of my AC’s on the boat and it is moving air that can be felt 25 feet away. I think the manufacturer might want to offer this to the boating industry as well. I highly recommend this for any heat and air conditioners to cool those areas that are not always warm or cool.

Quiet, nice hum. This thing really moves the air when at high speed, so I keep it at mid or lower setting. This unit `was my solution to pull cold air upstairs to my addition in Florida. Before I found this solution, it was sweltering upstairs in summer. We put the unit in line with the ductwork and mounted it to the rafters so there was no ceiling vibration. This is the third time I have installed one of these because I have three ducts splitting from the AC trunk to three spaces upstairs. Now, all my air conditioning dreams have come true! It is nice and cool upstairs! The units run all day long. Love this product and would give it a higher rating off there was one! My next plan is to use one of these to pull more heat to my downstairs in my old, drafty historic home in Utah!`
