I'm a senior citizen and need help often, these have helped me in so many ways. I hate having to ask for help all the time. These have solved many problems for me.

They are as advertised
I have not used them yet, but will use them on doors and to level my washing machine. They appear well made.

Great so far
The product is working just as described! I haven't had any issues with it so far, but then again, I haven't had it for very long. I'm thinking of buying more because it seems to be well-made. The material is of good quality, although I wouldn't say it's amazing. Nonetheless, it still gets the job done.

Didn't last through one project
Were bought to help level a refrigerator and one bent and broke and the other didn't work out of the box. I didn't not exceed the weight. Just wanted to adjust feet without having to manually lift while adjusting.

Small but mighty
I purchased these jacks to stabilize a shooting bench and they work very well for that application. I can see many other uses for them around the house and shop.

Well made but not as strong as advertised
I admit I got these for a job that was not what they were designed for. They were designed for jacking up drywall into position before you nail it in. For that they are probably fine. Also good for jacking up stuff like cabinets before you screw them into the wall. I was trying to use these to reposition a dock float back into position that had come loose. As such, the float has a buoyancy of about 600 lbs.Like all great ideas, this didnt quite work. But it did show where these jacks don't quite hit the mark. They are advertised at being able to pick up 260 lbs each. Not really. And one jack could lift quite a bit more than the other. If you think about it, you are trying to transfer the leverage from the handles which are about 6-7 inches long into a lifting capacity of 260 lbs, not really. The handles would have to be longer to get closer to that number. Also, that capacity is dependent on friction of the bar on the parts that ratchet it up each time you squeeze the handle. With these two, there are differences where one works better but it is not apparent in just looking at them. The mechanism in these is similar to some older pony bar clamps I have. On the Pony clamps, the edges of the bar have lots of fine serrations that allow the ratchet to catch and hold. These dont have any. I guess that is what you get when you just copy a product instead of engineering it from the start. I could probably rough up the edges with a file and that might help some with the lift capacity.I'm sure I will find these handy for some other job in the future. Just keep in mind though that they have limitations.
