The Serta Raised Air Bed with Never Flat™ technology makes getting into and out of bed easier and just might be the most comfortable air bed you've ever slept on. Able to maintain it's pressure throughout the night, Never Flat™ elimates sagging and loss of air pressure that is so common in airbeds. Never Flat™ technology is an auto-engaging, whisper quiet pump that maintains constant air pressure throughout the night for an undisturbed, continuous night's rest that is never flat. Choose your desired comfort level--Plush, Medium, or Firm--and let the powerful Primary Pump inflate the bed. Once inflated, the Secondary Pump continusly monitors and senses when it needs to silently engage in order to maintain the chosen comfort level throughout the night. *The powerful, integrated primary pump enables effortless inflation and deflation of the air bed. *The automatic shut-off feature turns the Primary Pump once the bed is fully inflated or deflated, allowing you to turn on the pump and walk away without worrying about the pump getted burned out. *Clear dial settings for plush, medium, and firm allow for preferred personal mattress comfort levels. *Pressure sensing technology constantly monitors and adjusts to match the chosen mattress comfort level. *Pump silently, as neccessary, engages throughout the night creating a consistently comfortable feel. *21 circular coils on the Twin Bed and 35 circular coils on the Queen Bed create a comfortable sleeping surface while vertical and horizontal reinforcements allow bed to maintain shape. *Flocked top keeps bedding in place. *Carry bag included. Guaranteed to stay inflated all night! NOTE: Please ensure that the NeverFlat pump is turned on while in use in order to keep the bed feeling fully inflated. The bed is made from PVC which will stretch as it gets warm with use. As the PVC stretches, the bed will increase in volume and with the NeverFlat pumped turned on, the pump will keep the pressure at a constant level and eliminate the feeling of it deflating.

Great warranty, but comes with problems
I purchased this bed a while back. Probably over a year ago. I will say this for the bed... It is super easy to use, just plug into the wall, turn the switch, and it automatically inflates and cuts off at the correct pressure. The silent pump is nice on a winter night as the temperature drops and the pressure in the bed gets lower, the pump kicks on and keeps the bed fully inflated, and its fairly quiet, not enough to wake a moderate sleeper. Lastly, its fairly comfortable. The bed has one more plus, but I will get to that after I talk about what I don't like. Here's the problem. After over a year of occasional use, the mattress separated from the pump control and was virtually useless as it would no longer hold air.Okay so back to the good. The mattress has an excellent 2 year warranty. I called a number on the product page and was then sent an email with directions on how to get it replaced. Within a week a brand new mattress arrived. But alas, another problem. This one, right out of the box had a small hole in the top pad of the mattress. No problem, followed the instructions and received a third mattress. This one was great right out of the box, but after about two uses the mattress separated from the pump control again. The mattress is still under warranty so I can still get a replacement, but it is getting a little tiresome. Wondering if it's the model of the mattress, or if I am just having terrible luck and getting all of the defective ones. Aside from my luck with the mattress, the seller has been most excellent and easy to work with.

Best Air Mattress Value : See Update Not the Quality Expected
I don't usually write reviews on products, however if I can help another out especially when it comes to indecision about which product to buy I will. First Pros and Cons:Pros:Solid built and very comfortable (even on plush setting very firm)No air leaks so far.Built in pump inflates mattress in about 4 minutesSo far, the Never Flat pump has not turned on, at least haven't heard itAble to sit on the side of the mattress with shifting it or noise.Easy setup, very quick pump inflation.Very comfortable, sleeping better already.Cons:Not a true queen, I call it a fueen.Queen sheets and comforter are too large and drag the floor, but I can live with it.It's only 18 inches high. A few more inches would be perfect.(Down Ladies)Heavy, bag is big enough for packing, but it is heavy. So, after 2 days of trying to figure out which mattress to get, I settled on this one. Glad I did. Thus far no problems however I only sleep on it 5 out of 7 days a week because my work takes me out of town, and I didn't want to buy a box spring and mattress for my week apartment. I do have it placed on a carpeted floor which makes it even, if you place it on hardwoods I would suggest placing a throw rug underneath it.So, quick and easy setup, good solid mattress, different firmness settings, and Never Flat pump, my opinion would be purchase this mattress.Update 12-28-2018 . Just like clockwork this mattress was found flat after partial use exactly 1 year after I bought it. The never flat pump quit working, obviously not the quality I thought after my purchase. After inspecting the mattress for leaks, I was unable to find any weak areas, so it seems it doesn't seal adequately around the pump inflation area.Very disappointed with the purchase. Changing my review to a 1.

Defective or Poorly Made; Leaked After Only 7 Weeks! Replacement Also Failed Within Weeks!
Final update:Bought this in November. Sprung a leak after a few weeks. Amazon replaced it in December. The replacement has now sprung a leak ... in EXACTLY the same place, and just two days shy of 8 weeks. And I am now informed by Amazon that I cannot return the replacement, so I'm out the entire ~$130 purchase price. This bed, with its "NeverFlat" feature is a great idea ... if you never intend to actually use it. Complete junk.....Had high hopes, as the reviews were pretty good. However, this bed seems to have had a small leak since day one, as the "NeverFlat" pump ran very frequently. The reviews warn that this type of bed will "stretch" for several days before stabilizing in size ...so, for the first week, I assumed this was why it kept needing "top-ups."Unfortunately, it soon became obvious that this wasn't the only issue. (Note also that the small pump would not run while there was weight on the bed ... no matter how soggy the mattress became; once the weight was removed, then it would activate.) Finally, after only 7 weeks of use, the top of the mattress split at one of the "coil" circles. The included patches will not adhere to the fuzzy top surface of the mattress, rendering it completely unusable. Will be returning it ... but have not yet decided whether to give Serta one more try (perhaps this was a rare defective unit?) or get a refund and try a different brand. Or give up on the airbed concept entirely......

Comfortable product that will not last a year
Product was great until the control box started separating from the mattress and caused air leakage. After reading through other reviews, this does not appear to be an isolated incident and will only be a matter of time before it happens to you (it took mine 10 months). It is a shame because I was enjoying this product as it provided superior comfort to other air beds that I have used before. However with the knowledge that it is only a matter of time before this thing blows up, I cannot recommend this product over cheaper air mattresses.

Bought it for back problems, I'll never go to another matress again
I'm 40, very active and likely hurt my lower back at some point in life. For the last 3 years I've tried a hard foam mattress, a memory foam mattress and a spring mattress. After 6 to 6.5 hrs of sleep my back would get very stiff and uncomfortable to sleep. I read that air mattresses are the best for back pain. I had tried chiropractors, massage therapists, acupuncture and yoga stretching. Some had helped but never solved the sleep problem. I've been sleeping on this bed (with a 1 1/2 " memory foam topper) for about 2 months now, every night, my back problems when sleeping are gone. It's been great and if I only get 6 months or a year out of it it's worth the money for waking up with a good back!

A great air mattress
I love this bed, its height and weight. It doesn't feel like sleeping on an air mattress and is perfect when we have guests. It has an auxiliary pump that silently operates throughout the night that ensures you don't wake up to a collapsed air mattress in the morning. I had mine for a bit over a year before it sprang a leak around the control panel. I contacted the supplier and had a very positive experience with them. They replaced the mattress, shipping it out within two days of receiving my information. An excellent customer relations experience!

Good thing this has a 2 year warranty
The mattress is actually quite comfortable and the neverflat pump works great.HOWEVER, pinholes appeared along one of the round seams in the middle of the mattress after only 6 months of use. All in all, it was used no more than 20 nights before failing, which is absolutely ridiculous for the price.I would have given less than 3 stars, but Serta's response was quick and they are shipping us a new one as we speak. Let's see how this one does...

Serta does not back the warranty on this anymore, sent to a third party.. replacement failed as well
This is junk... both the first bed and the replacement they sent failed after a couple of uses. Both failed on the seam around the motor. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS. Would give no stars if that was an option! This bed like many others failed after only a few uses. It failed where many have ...on the seal just under the pump. Serta WILL NOT warranty this product. They sent me to deal with the company that makes it for them, I have heard back and they seem to be honoring the 2 year Serta warranty on this. The fact that Serta won’t deal with this product even when it has its name on it tells you a lot. I ended up using a 10year old aero bed when this failed for my guests. The aero bed 10years in still works great even if not as high as this “sorta serta” bed.I have increased my rating to 2 stars being that they seem to be getting the warranty sorted out, a pain but at least it looks like it will be replaced.
