Good solid cable lock which fits through the zip pulls on the rucksack. Just a bit of extra security when the bag’s out of sight on planes, etc.

I bought these to go with my Osprey backpack, unfortunately these aren't the same high quality build as their backpacks. They're made out of moslty plastic, which in fairness gives them light weight, perfect for backpacking. But as I found when arriving at border control in Australia I got picked to have my bag inspected. I could not get the lock open it took me a solid 5 minutes, eventually I pulled tab out of the lock, it was so awkward. As I found on my travels they constantly get stuck and the plastic coating around metal wire comes off very easily making it hard to open them. Personally I would get a different more durable brand as these were so temperamental to use and don't feel that secure to be honest.

...lock, which is fine as I bought it to go with an Osprey sling bag. How it would hold up in, say, the hold of a plane, I am not so sure. The bad thing about this product was trying to remove it from the card without cutting the cable. Companies really should pay more attention to practical issues such as this!

I expected better quality from Osprey! The ‘code’ side works fine, but the other side should only be unlocked with a key and then you also need a key to reinsert… this one came out without a key but wouldn’t go back!

I love these locks. I backpacked across Europe and these were perfect for hostels and locking up my bag. My favourite part about them is how light weight they are compared to most cable locks. Definitely recommend if you want a lightweight lock.

After putting in my own secret number, I tested it a few times. Worked ok. I’ve closed my backpack/suitcase from Osprey. When I arrived at my destination, I couldn’t open it anymore! Then I had to brake it and it broke very easily. I’ll close it next time with a cable tie, much cheaper and also easily to losen.

Das Schloss macht einen guten Eindruck. Es erfüllt meine Erwartungen an ein Schloss für meine Reisetasche. Der Pin lies sich problemlos ändern. Diesen nutze ich nun und es funktioniert. Man muss nur darauf achten das man das Schloss richtig herum hält. Bin schon mal darauf reingefallen. Die Zahlen sind von beiden Seiten zu sehen.
