Works way better than expected
Very sharp and works great. We were punching through thinsulate and used a polyethylene cutting board as the back surface. We made 1000's of holes with the ⁵/⁸ punch and it's still perfect. We recommend a deadblow hammer to make each hole a one hit affair.

Good for the money
The cutting angle is steep so that makes it hard to punch leather. Easy enough to fix if you like to tinker.

Just what I needed.
I needed to punch out 256 circles from adhesive backed box velvet for a project. I first tried a 3/4" paper hole punch, forget about it! I bought this punch set and it did the job. Nice, heavy duty punch dies and handle in a carry case. The punch die held it's sharpness even after 256 cuts. I have already thought of several other applications I can use it for. Pleased.

Very disappointed.
The punch set had been used. There was some kind of residue on three of the punches. Its missing the 1/4 inch punch.

Cuts tough material
I needed this initially to cut an insulating "washer" from thin-gauge polycarbonate plastic, which is quite tough. It worked well but took quite a bit of pounding with a hammer. I should have used a press instead. Regardless, the punches did OK and I'll use them again in future when needed.

Works like a charm
Bought to cut drainage holes through 1/4” thick vinyl floor tile. Worked very easily and the spring loaded center made the piece pop out after it was cut.

Will work on butter - guaranteed
DO NOT BUY. I thought I would replace my existing punches since it was taking additional effort to make clean cuts. Returned promptly and Do Not Buy if you want to make a hole in a tarp. The punches (plural) were so dull and flat they did not penetrate a HF blue trap.
