Does the Job, Well Made for Price
Ordered a few coats (some had cancer warnings on them so those were rejects) but chose this one. Reasons why: Good solid weight with nice to the touch material for the exterior and functions well. It fit sufficiently well for me despite other reviews of sizing issues. I usually take Small to Medium but in this case someone recommended a Large for that body size so I went with it. Keep in mind, especially for the ladies, that it is male sizing so the chest is very large and shoulder distance wide. Despite complaints listed for neck size and hood size, it fit me perfectly. The neck snapped just under my chin with plenty of room to be comfortable and even wear a scarf, and the hood connected right under my chin. It has pull tabs to size the hood completely around the face with a visor on top that keeps rain off the face. It's quite adjustable.....and I have a small head:). The lining is inexpensive netting which is ok for the body but not the best for making the pocket.....therefore all you can put in the pocket is probably gloves but it won't hold anything heavy or sharp, like keys. There is a fake snap on the pocket, which could have been functional but it's only half the snap. It's a bit tricky to get your hand in the pocket because the flap is towards the middle of the coat so you have to put the hand in reverse from what you would normally do to enter a pocket. This might strain the bottom of the pocket design. The coat is long, but the zipper, which functions well, goes about 2/3 way down the coat. The bottom can be closed with snaps and it closes well. There is an extra fold on the inside of the zipper that protects it further including an over flap that snaps over the zipper. The arms are way too long for me, being a small person, but the cuffs keep them in place. There is an internal cuff that gathers at the wrist. The sleeve goes over the cuff for more protection. The coat has epilets but I am never able to comfortably use them to carry stuff, so it's just a design in my case. It has a reflective strip in the front above the chest and in the back. The coat looks like a functional safety coat and not couture, lol. It's good for dog walking, light work and keeping dry. It's not for active work because one would sweat profusely since it's not breathable. For the function, it is comfortable, despite the huge chest size and arms for a small person. I found this coat to be constructed better than others I tried and meets my needs for staying dry even in downpours.

Major waterproof raincoat
Wore it in one heavy rain with big wind and so far so good. I'll update if it doesn't stay waterproof after more rain exposure. The great stuff? Comes in a large turquoise pouch trimmed with orange that has velcro closure and there's a wrist strap to carry the pouch. Nice. The coat is heavy thick fabric, mesh lining, between my knees and ankles, nicely finished and sewn, gorgeous color but not the lighter turquoise in the photo, it's a darker and richer color. Has a yellow zipper which contrasts nicely with the turquoise coat color and also has snaps. There are reflective strips across the back and on the front chest pockets. The sleeves have an elasticized wrist part attached at the end of the sleeve, underneath the whole sleeve. The sleeve pulls down over the elasticized piece. The elastic around the wrists is thick but not tight. So, double coverage at the wrists and no water will get in. The not quite great? The hood is weird. Very close fitting, almost too small, with velcro to snap under the chin and a bill like on a sports cap. The hood folds away in the neck portion of the coat. I'd rather have a detachable hood or larger differently shaped hood. The snaps fasten as on a man's garment, but no big deal. The lower pockets are just made of the mesh lining so they won't hold very much. The zipper isn't heavy duty, looks light weight, don't think it'll last, but with snaps to close I'll deal with that. And now about the fit. I usually take a 6, rarely an 8, in USA women's garments. I ordered a medium in army green camo (this color wasn't available at the time) and medium was HUGE. Then I ordered this color when it became available in extra small. I couldn't even zip the extra small coat or snap it closed. The wrists were too small. I finally ordered a small. The small fits just barely but I'm keeping it. Don't know if sizing is off or different for different colors. Check the size chart and keep sizing and the smallish weird hood in mind. Two different people told me I look like a London "bobby" (metropolitan police officer) in this coat. Check out a pic of that, see if that works for you, think it's because of the hood and shoulder epaulets. In spite of the "not great" stuff this is an excellent value for a major raincoat with sturdy waterproof fabric and everything I wanted and needed. I tried a number of other "raincoats." They were all actually just ponchos with thin flimsy fabric, flimsy zippers and snaps, I looked like I was wearing a big baggy trash bag, and they were the same price as this raincoat. This one is twice the value of the others for the same price. Recommend it.
