Gardein Plant-based Chili With Beans, Vegan, 15 oz

When you first slop it out of the can, it can be a real turnoff because it comes out like wet dog food. But after you heat it up, it's incredibly tasty and nutritious. The value is decent if you get them on sale for about three Washingtons, but watch out when it's six Washingtons because that's too much.

This was the first time I tried this chili and I can tell you, it is delicious just as it is or add some beans, onions, etc. or serve over mashed potatoes or mac and cheese. I'll definitely be ordering more soon. (I just kinda wish they were less than $3.

It is good and quick when you don't have time to make veggie chili, need a plant-based hot dog topping, or two portion-conscious household members are very hungry. I would have liked more beans and less plant-based "meat." It won't touch the flavor of homemade veggie chili, but it is good for when you don't have the time or it is too hot outside to make homemade. This makes about two servings for people who like smaller portions or one portion for a hungry person.

When I opened this, I wasn't expecting much but it looked like regular meat based chili from what I remember it looking like. It smells the same as regular chili as well. I ate some tonight with Daiya Mozzarella cheeze and it was super delicious! I'm going to put veggie dogs in it next time because it just felt like thats what was missing or I could make vegan chili cheeze dogs instead. 10/10! Definitely will be buying more after we run out. It was filling too! After being vegan since childhood, this is the best vegan chili I've had. Definitely recommend!

Gardein has awesome products. I heat this up with vegan cheese! I dip my chips, and it’s delicious! I just got my friend hooked!

chili wise not "bad" but no beans like pic.. Ate 1/2 can. I had to add Mexican Fiesta spices. Other half I added 1/2 can of Amy's Chili. Much better. . Doubt I'd get again. I do like many of Gardein's products. Amy's medium and hot chili Much better.

This chili is somehow both creamy and chunky at the same time. It is extremely flavorful and has just the right amount of spice (for me). And, for those who worry about such things, there are two servings per can, each offering 16 grams of protein for just 250 calories. This chili will become a permanent staple in my pantry from now on. Highly recommend.

The actual contents does not resemble what is on the label of the can. Once opened you are met with a stench that is as repulsive as the "chili" itself. I heated the "chili" just to sample. That small sample was all that it took to render me very ill to say the least. The contents went back into the can then hit the garbage. A total waste of my money that Amazon will not refund. There is something wrong with this product, yet Amazon continues to sell this product. Amazon does not honor their customers.
