Impressionist Quilts

I made one awesome impressionist quilt and it was for a baby. It was awesome. Then I lent the books out to someone and never got them back. This was just a replacement book. I'm years away from making another quilt but you know I'm not lending these out ever again.

I like the information on choosing, cutting, assembling and sewing fabrics to create the illusion of a painting. I bought the book for research to prepare for making what are known as "watercolor quilts" for myself and others. As an artist, I would like to try a different medium.

Enjoying this lovely illustrated book. Happy to have added it to my ever growing collection of quilting books I am enjoying.
