Truly lives up to the name "ambrosia"
I'm generally not one for writing reviews, but this deliciously creamy treasure is worth an exception! Smooth, rich, not too sweet, and with a better vanilla flavor than most puddings out there. It's too expensive to keep around on a regular basis, but one taste of this made me start dreaming up all kinds of ways to use it, from mixing it with fresh berries to slathering it on top of pancakes. If you like custard and/or vanilla, a definite must-try! <3

Not good. Over priced vanilla pudding. Not custard.
You guys...no. Don't waste your money.-It literally has the price on the can as 1 pound. Even converted into American dollars, I paid way too much! For 4 cans?! Oh my lord.-The cans are dented..and yes, I'm complaining about dented cans. For the money I spent I want perfect cans.-This is low sugar, low fat, vanilla pudding. I'm not joking. With a weird metallic after taste. This is NOT the custard I grew up with.I'd return these but I feel bad sending back food. Hopefully I have some friends around who won't mind it.If you realllllllly want to try this as badly as I did...and you are thinking that I might be overreacting, please don't fall for it. Save yourself tons of money and go buy some vanilla pudding at your local grocery store.

DELICIOUS PUDDING!
This custard pudding has been a favorite of mine since I was a child in Scotland. It is creamy and can be used as a pudding or pie filling.

Cans were damaged
All of the can arrived dented. The can's weren't pierced, so I assume it will be okay to eat. They were in a larger box with other items and properly shipped. The shipped box did not show any signs of distress, hence the cans had to be dented prior to shipment.

Tasty!
I bought this because I'd never tried it. It's fairly expensive (in the USA), but it was definitely worth buying once. I'd probably try to find it locally if I want it again.I combined it with leftover rice to make some quick rice pudding. Also tried it over ice cream. Over cake. It's quite simple and not too sweet. Not as knock-your-socks-off tasty as freshly made, but perfectly serviceable.

Delicious
English custard reminds me of home . Creamy and flavorful.Unfortunately all the cans were dented so it made opening them somewhat difficult to open
