Clore Automotive BA427 Solar Electronic Battery and System Tester with Printer (USB, Software, 40-3000 CCA)

I bought them for our shop. They are doing the job without having got spend the extra money to the interstate truck

Tester is acurate. Quality is not the greatest. The screen is not centered in the tool frame and the buttons are backwards and opposite of what they should be. Up is left down is right etc. Disappointed but not enough to hassle with returning the tool.

Works great, when it works. Outstanding warranty. Returned one and SOLAR sent me a new one, no questions asked. The problem is when it fails outside of warranty. Had two others. Both failed in less than two years. Was willing to pay to have repaired, but SOLAR doesn't offer a repair service. They told me to just buy new ones. If they won't last at least two years for almost $400/ea., then I'm going to have to look at other brands.

Very good battery tester.Thermo paper for ease of replacement, no ink to replace.Reasonably accurate.Test a variety of battery types.Long lead, Some times too long to carry out systems test when battery in the rear etc.Diode ripple test reasonably accurate.This is our second one, the first one lasted 2.5 years.Our usage is at least 5+ batteries tests daily 5 days a week.load error occurred after failure.

The battery tester works well and very easy to use

Excellent tool. Works much better and is much more informative than a low price battery tester that simply puts a resistive load on it. The best part of this, it will print out the report, two copies no less, so you can leave one with the client. I use it to test batteries on home standby generators so it has become an invaluable tool, as well as documentation on the condition of the clients battery.

I needed a tester that could handle several types of batteries and a charging system. I have 9 batteries I need to keep tabs on. I can't give an indepth analyses of the machine but it has given me the results I need. I recently had two problem batteries. I tested them with the Solar then took them to three local auto parts stores to compare their test. They were the same as my Solar.

Replaced our $900 midtronics with this. We are sick of the overpriced junk failing and this is a breath of fresh air. It may not look as fancy but it works just as good and sells us a ton of batterys!!!
