These are clever socks for all of us flip flop wearers. I do wear them on cold morning while I walk my dog. However they are tight. My ankles are not puffy at all and I barely get them on.

These socks are very comfortable. They are in between a light and medium weight. They work fine around the house with my flip flops but they wouldn't be warm enough to wear outside on a cold day. I wear a size 8 women's shoe and they fit perfect. I did wash and dry them and they didn't shrink. I'm very happy with them and will order more.
