The straws are a little flimsy, so if you’re picturing the indestructible strength of our old Generation X erector sets, you’ll want to lower your expectations a bit. That said, for the price, it bought my kid a solid few hours of off-screen entertainment, and honestly, that alone made it worth it. It comes with a few example builds to copy, but no step-by-step instructions, which actually turned out to be a good thing—it forced some real imaginative play instead of just following directions. I do wish they sold replacement straws, because after all the bending and rebuilding, a few didn’t hold up so well. But I’m not about to buy an entire new set just to replace a handful of pieces. Overall, not heirloom-quality, but a fun, creative, screen-free win.

Wow such a good price for such a good durable activity toy. It engages children 3 to 14. My grand children who are ages 3, 9, 10, and 13 love them. Of all the activity toys we have they love these the best. They literally requested for me to get more of these. I recommend getting two sets for more than one child. Colors are vibrant. Very easy to use. Inspires imagination and works hour child's small motor skills. I would highly recommend this product. I will be buying more. I enjoy building with them too.

Bought this as a Christmas present in 2024 - kids ages 7 thru 10 at the time. Its been a year later and these are still played with. Good quality, lots of options and great creativity. Also, plenty of items came with so no issues on having to share. Knocking off one star because the container is awful, impossible to put everything back in without stress trial and error. I throw it away and used a mesh storage bag with drawstring. Much easier.

Kids loved them for Christmas. Kept them busy while they tried to create different buildings and other things that their mind could think of. Would recommend for kids who love to tinker with Legos, K'nex, and the like. Just need to make a rule they need to clean up all the parts before moving onto another toy.

Nice concept, but quality needs improvement. Some connectors are broken, misshapen, or fused together. Also, the accompanying manual illustrating constructions may provide ideas, but cannot easily be duplicated since the drawings are small and ambiguous as to how the straws are actually interconnected. There is no inventory of the connectors, and it takes forever to sort through them to find the one you actually need.

Bought this for my Granddaughter after watching kids at the Boys & Girls Club creating with this kit. She kept leaving other presents aside and asking me to play with her. It allows kids to explore their creative side

This gift is a hit with my grandchildren! They build structures for hours - literally the first toy I have seen children fully-engaged with for hours at a time. Sparks their imaginations as they learn about balance and other aspects of science used in building.
