I hardly write reviews but I really felt I needed to on this product. I do not like using chemicals on my fur babies, I like to use all natural when possible. This does not work. My cat was bothered by fleas and they were mostly gathered by the collar when I flea combed her. Unfortunately this again did not work. I went old school and flea combed with a solution of dawn and warm water.

I was pretty skeptical about it working but desperately needed to try something. I was constantly pulling ticks off our outdoor cats daily.It’s been a week now and haven’t seen any. To say I’m happy is an understatement.

The important thing is I have seen no ticks or fleas. This cat hates collars but is tolerating this one which is surprising me. No strong smell which is good so far so good!

The older formula used for these flea and worm collars where amazing and I have yet to find a better flea treatment for my Maine coone with flea allergies. I am sad that I am down to my last collar and every other "natural ingredient" collar the share the same ingredients at the current formula and never worked for him. I wish I could give it a 5 star review because the old collars where absolutely 5 star for my cats. But now I just don't know. I just want to get the active ingredients that I know work with my cats and where I live.

This smells a little more potent than other brands of similar cat collars I've used but my cats tolerate it well and I see no evidence of fleas. They are outside cats. It works just as good as the more expensive brands of flea collars I've used. They also feel sturdier. The last brand I got was so flimsy that the collars broke off, but these feel like stronger material.

I first put this collar on my youngest cat the beginning of this month, about 3 weeks ago. I have two indoor kitties but I assumed my dog somehow brought some fleas in with him even though he has a great collar and I haven’t found any in his fur. Also to be fair there’s been twice that my younger cat has snuck outside for 10 seconds where she could have picked some up. After much laundry and vacuuming I tried an experiment. My older cat already had the topical treatment on her but it would soon need reapplication. She had remained flea free while her sister was temporarily unprotected. I wanted to get an idea of the effectiveness and given how often I have to reapply the ointment I thought the collar would be a nice alternative. I was so wrong! It has made zero difference in the amount of eggs/fleas I have found on them. I just found one crawling around on my younger cat’s head, right next to the collar. I had even put a collar on my other cat when her ointment had worn off to see if there was a difference between cats- stupid. Don’t waste your money!!!

This collar is not really effective. Both of my kittens have been scratching since day one.
