Great case for my new Viking cue stick I recently purchased.

Bought for my husband and he loves it. Much better than the hard case.

This my first purchased pool queue. It beats any of the pool queues at the pool table. It is perfectly straight, the balance and weight is comfortable to me. Highly recommend this pool queue.

This case is lightweight and the materials and stitching are nicely done. However, the picture shows a separate sleeve for the shaft to keep the two pieces of the cue separated from one another in the case. In reality, this sleeve is a tube that runs into the case only as far as the accessory pocket--about halfway to the bottom of the case. What this means is the shaft and butt of the cue are in contact with one another in the lower half of the case. Pretty cheesy, actually. If your cue has a wood shaft, it can get dinged up by rattling against the butt (carbon shafts are fairly immune to this kind of damage). There's another case exactly like this for sale on Amazon, but with the Viking brand logo on it, and I would not be surprised if that one is made the same way because Valhalla is a down-market brand owned by Viking. I am disappointed; their cues are really good quality. Why are their cases so chintzy?

Worth the money, love having the outside pocket

If you are hesitating at pulling the trigger on this Viking cue, wait no longer. This cue is laser straight and hits perfectly. The tip is preformed, scuffed and chalked before shipping, and allows for excellent ball control. Fit and finish is flawless. This is a great stick at a very affordable price.
