Ordered these after Achilles tendon surgery instead of the normal ace type wrap. They are a nice weight and help keep my foot and ankle aligned and supported. They fit pretty close to measurement specs. I've washed mine and air-dried and they are still perfectly fine. Good purchase. If you have a larger size leg, you would need to get a bigger diameter sleeve as these do cut in to my leg a little (but no harm) due to top band of sleeve being thicker.

It’s excellent support for my broken tendon

Just started wearing one on my left foot. I have another brace by a competitor but it was a stabilizer. Had cross over straps and a plastic side stabilizer bar. Very uncomfortable and actually to much support. My ankle isn’t swollen but actual pain came from lifting my leg while walking. Some pain in Achilles tendon and left part of ankle. Sharp pain. This new ankle brace is exactly what I needed. It helps keep my ankle together. I was always dreading when my foot would raise up every time I lifted it to walk. I’ve been walking around my home and have no pain. Tomorrow I’m going to begin to slowly start walking around my subdivision. I’m so very happy. The fit is perfect!! If they hold up I may be buying another pair. They are doing what I wanted them to do. I travel by airplane quite a lot so I’m going to be wearing the pair while I’m on the plane. So nice that I can even wear my sandals with them.
