Downsizing my equipment setup. Was a 20+ year Pod user. They have problems with malfunctioning for whatever reason - on my third one with problems, had enough.Just plugged the SONICAKE in and tried all the functions. Whatever the Pod has that this doesn't - I never used anyway. Good sound, sturdy metal case, easy to see what effect is in use or not - the knobs light up when engaged.Very long cord on the included AC adaptor. I don't want to program a guitar interface, the SONICAKE has a simple to operate interface, and that counts when you work alone and have to also manage settings on the PA and run the computer, if you use tracks, etc. When working alone, the less complicated each component in the system is - the better.

No pensé que este pedal tuviera las capacidades musicales que tiene. ¡Son 4 pedales en 1! y lo mejor que es un super-precio. Mi Bajo eléctrico ya no suena tan plano y apagado, con este pedal tiene mejor sonido y puedo tener muchas combinaciones de efectos y además incluye su fuente de 9VDC. ¡¡Muy recomendable!!

This unit is very well built and gets you a very usable tone both into an amp as well as direct. The cab sim is a simple EQ but does the job well enough. As other reviews have noted, the only issue with this pedal is the tone control on the drive - to get usable articulation this needs to be all the way up (max) any lower, and your sound will be muddy. The compressor is great as a boost (turn sustain down and level up) into the drive. The drive is great on minimum as well as dialed up a bit (you will need to ride the level to get several really usable tones here). The reverb and delay are great and don't intrude on your tone. Overall, I could gig with this straight into the board in a pinch without issue and this unit also takes pedals reasonably well. If you like the articulation from playing direct into an amp, you can get very close with this pedal at a very reasonable price.
