Crazy Clarifier

Worked as it should. Cleared the pool up real nice but it took a couple of days and it was combined with Drop out because the pool was so cloudy. Put it in. Run the pump on high for about 3 hours and then just shut the pump off and let it sit 2 or 3 days while it works. Don’t be impatient. Vacuum pool to waste as the sediment will pass through a filter. I bought a liquid transfer pump to do this but you can remove the filter if a cartridge, plug all return lines to pool with the exception of the one to expel the cloudy water. If pump is 2 speed, vacuum on low very slowly so not to raise sediment.

For almost two years of owning this home my pool water has always looked great. Nice and clean and clear. Then one day the water changed to the appearance of skim milk. It was probably my fault by not waiting the prescribed interval between adding the treatment chemicals. LOTS of effort was expended to restoring the water clarity. The pump has been run 24/7 for almost two weeks. A new OEM Hayward filter was installed. The filter was cleaned twice per day. AND this Clorox Crazy Clarifier was used. Being an American, of course my thought was if a little is good, then a lot is better AND I wanted the water clean NOW, so I initially used lots of this chemical. After this method didn't work for days I called the manufacturer. I was informed lots is not better. The chemical method I switched to then had great and "rapid" results. The pump remained running 24/7 w/ the filter being cleaned twice per day. BUT now, after each cleaning of the filter, I added the small amount of chemical listed on the product label. The water is almost back to normal clarity and is expected to be fully restored shortly. This chemical is recommended.

My hot tub instructions are to put 2 oz of clarifier every week as part of weekly maintenance. Buying the smaller boutique bottles was getting really expensive. This was a no brainer in getting costs under control. I've done the same for the other chemicals I use on a regular basis (oxidizer and descaler). It seems to work fine. (FYI - When the water gets cloudy, my retailer told me to use oxidizer, which Clorox also sells.)

i have tried several different brands of clarifier over the years and have never been satisfied with any of them until now this one worked fantastically... the first time... i went from cloudy water one day to crystal clear 24 hr later... i thought i would have to change out the water again but not this time... i just had a bad filter which i did replace after the water was cleared up... i will never buy another brand...

This is the best pool clarifier, it kept our pool crystal clear all season! It took our pool from green to clear in 24 hours

Worked by next day. Clear water after filtering about 10 hours.

Love it. Cleared the water in my hot tub right up. Will last forever. For my 1300 litre tub, my math said to add 1 1/4 tsp for the intense treatment. Significantly less for weekly maintenance. Dont go crazy with it. VERY LITTLE needed.

We were paying over $120/3 month supply for a different brand and decided to try this for cost savings. We haven’t noticed any difference in the overall effectiveness and this bottle will probably last over a year. You only need a very small amount. Would recommend for hot tub users.
