Q: Can I replace the bulb? Will it work with other e26 base bulbs?

I just tried to remove the bulb, in order to answer your question, and I was not able to get the bulb to move. The base, holding the bulb, moved with the bulb. There may be a way to do it, however I cannot tell you definitively.

Q: does this have a timer function?

It has a 6-hour timing function.

Q: how do you do the timer? does it matter which way you turn them on (right or left?)?

The lamp has a TIMER button under the base that can be turned on for 6 hours.

Not as expected

I received these lamps today. One has a faulty connection. It doesnt switch off or go on the timer. Once the lamp is on its on. You have to take batteries out or loosen the bulb to switch it off. There is no option for a replacement only option is to return both. Is someone monitoring these reviews that can help.

Handy lights but heavy on batteries

Love these timer lamps, I wanted them in my kitchen to brighten it up at night & to make sure a light was on when I came home (shift work) the only downside is they are heavy on battery use, I have them permanently on the timer function.
